Your vids are God tier. The way you present the char through the editing makes it really come to life. Wish I didn't go Nova sorc this season. Super expensive and even with all the gear can't do t3s lol.
hey sir, really impressive video a spent some time to farm currency and sniping gear and i nearly have the gear on hc now. i never played a non max block sorc, so this is gonna be the first time, ofc i wanna map, and im feeling i will get the feeling to play safety first and not tele arround into packs and get killed : but my question is, how does this build in lod content , im really afraid thinking of tele cs and just get clapped cuz i dont have max block. i thought about medusa and deatphantom... but i manged do get my hands on a 6 socket mang so i really wanna use it
I don't play hardcore, so it's hard for me to say, but definitely don't teleport like I did here right into the packs xd. I think it's a safe build if you just move forward and throw orbs.
@@Arthas_Menethiil Wouldn't it be better to create Doom and also be able to make maps immune to cold? I don't think the clearing speed will drop much without Infinity.
@@alejokorefrenchcore but how can doom help you break the immunity? Doom has only cold pierce. So it can further lower cold resistance of monsters AFTER cold immunity was broken. There are only 3 ways in pd2 to break cold immune: lower resistance curse, conviction aura and arctic blast spell. I would recommend you read pd2 wiki page about it, just google “wiki pd2 game mechanics” - 7.1 breaking immunities section.
@@alejokorefrenchcore and moreover - you should carry doom by yourself so you can benefit from - enemy cold res on it. Iv you will give it to merc - you will get 0 of it.
not for bossing most likely as the lower resist on cast is pretty much needed for the bossing part, but mapping is definitely stronger and faster with df medusa 3os facetted
To many noobs in the comments, "oh build is so expensive". Guys u dont know anything. I have my 50+ HR WW barb and yes its just stupid, but its fun, The diffrence between a 10 HR character and a 100+ is not even that much, ITS JUST FOR FUN.
on forb 10hr vs 50 hr build is a complete different world tho ... Was running T3 maps in like 15-20 minutes on my 7hr forb and now on around 30 hr i run them in 4 minutes. Bossing was pretty much impossible apart from uber trist with the 7-10hr forb and now on 30 I completed all bosses
@@jrgros635 cant see doing them below 20 as you will need some good life skillers to have the life to sustain random hits that you will not be able to avoid
@@Read-Nh-Hb1778 what i mean is the diffrence between 1 HR and 10 HR char is like 500 % or some huge number but from 10-100 it might be 100% you get what i mean
its rly damn slow as a character of many HRs of price the gear... I got similar speed of t3 after 5 days of play as a fresh PD2 player. Not rly worth to build. But i like the orb sorc rly. And made a first char for look around PD2 mod
highly doubt that you can do faster speed on a 5 day fresh char ... his mapping showcase basically only showed the boss - which is one of the hardest for sorcs .... but his mapping speed with this kind of gear is below 4 minutes if he speed farms the map

I built this but with Frost nova chest, mainly doing FN and boss use FO, wondering if i messed up lol only care about mapping though
I created my infinity for the mercenary but it doesn't remove the cold immunity of immune enemies, so why take it then? Wouldn't Doom be better?
You basically still don’t run cold immune maps, only idea of this is to make resists of mobs below 0 = more damage dealt = faster clear.

saying the diffrence between 10 and 100 hr isn't much is crazy, you get all the gg slams for much more +skills an sockets/facets, how cooked are you
