THE STRENGTH (and weakness) OF CERATOSAURUS!- Primal Carnage: Extinction

- Last time in Primal Carnage, I said I'd play Ceratosaurus in Team Deathmatch. And here I am fufilling that promise. Please give me watch time.

Pros and Cons of Cera (at least for me)
Cons:
- Roar prevents attacking when sprinting (im partially convinced that this is a bug)
- Yet another class hard countered by net gun
• there are 11 different classes of dinosaurs and 7 of them are practically dead if they get hit by net which is 63% of the roster... im fine with Cera being inconvenienced by the net but it shouldn't be an outright sitting duck, especially considering how easy it is to land a net
- The movement feels a little clunky, just a little too slow when not in sprint and the acceleration/deceleration has gotten me stuck more times than I care to admit
Pros:
- Big Daddy damage - Its so satisfying to combo off Charge and finish with a tail slap, nothing else smaller than a Tyrant 2/3 shots humans so beautifully and it can pick off weakened humans really effectively
- Big Daddy Bulk and armor - Just tanky enough to stick around in a fight and nab a kill even if you're for sure gonna die
Ultimately I think Carno may prove to be a more effective over all Bruiser in the long run due to better stam, a roar ability to shores up the health and armor difference anyways, and more efficient overall charge but the Cerato still remains as an incredibly satisfying mix between Rex and Nova with a charge ability and i personally can't wait to play more of it and see what mutations and skins come out for it

the bite is also great for saying "fuck off with that dodging shit" when humans try to side step
I expected it to be tankier than that. Around 1,800 hp, actually.

Cerato - Strong and fairly tanky but low stam. Use your roar before going into a battle so you can run in, drain stam from humans and run out. You DO NOT do charge damage once you roar. Some cerato tips from me, dunno if itll be useful tho
I’ve seen so many people roar and charge so many times XD. I play on console so when/if it comes to console I’ll be ready because I see all the mistakes they’re making now and I’m learning.

in the first 4 minutes I was legit worried he'd be like smash players who beg for a character and then once it's released they trash it and call it garbage.
Agreed, stun-gun should be nerfed for tyrants.
But in reality a stun-gun could kill a tyrant.
The larger an animal, the more nerves it has.
The more nerves it has, the more damage done by electricity.
You can taze a human or raptor and disable it, but if you taze a T-rex, elephant or Spinosaurus you might just kill it.
If said tazar goes through the skin, remember, dinosaurs and larger animals in general have tougher hide if not scales
@@lauraljeskey5987 The tasers in Primal Carnage have been shown penetrating Tyrannosaur hide.
While you are right, if the point of a taser successfully hits the animal, it doesn't have to penetrate the hide, it just needs to get stuck in the skin to work properly.
@@cryoking7303 True, but to make it work at its best, It'd be really cool if they made some dinosaur parts like the back impossible to shock said dinosaur. Same with weak spots, like the head. Though I doubt they will ever do that, i can see where i went wrong in my comment (:

Cerato gives me Goliath from evolve vibes. And I love it. It’s like a raging bull.
First couple of minutes in, for the first time ever playing as Cerato, that was impressive (much better than some other RUclipsrs) 😂
Mainly because I’m the only youtuber that actively covers this game on regular basis instead of only shilling it when it updates LOL. Also I no life the game in my spare time soooooooo
About the nets... I think that Cerato should be able to counter them due to the crests and the forearms. They look sharp enough to cut the net, plus the arms are definitely larger than Carno's and they appear to be useable.

Pesky you should try playing dead by daylight sometime I think you would enjoy it. Asymmetrical multiplayer, high learning curve and skill gap, and it’d be fun to watch

Here in PS4 this doesn't happen all you can't do is bite which is why in PS4 carno is the killer of netters.

If you have a steam account, you can download it from there. In case you don’t know, Steam is basically a platform that sells computer games and allows you to download them, and primal carnage is on it, along with other games that I play on the channel such as the isle. Hope that helps you!
