- Catch and cook on a beach! Wailea, Hawaii is one of the richer areas on the island, so I wanted to fish since I figured not a lot of millionaires shore fish in front of the resorts. I caught some pretty cool reef fish and saw some whales!! No literally - I saw actual humpback whales playing in front of the resorts! It was such an amazing day! I found out after I released the triggerfish that they are edible, but I don't know if I want to eat fish that beautiful! The hawkfish was truly delicious - small, but delicious!

The triggerfish actually has a trigger. just behind that first large spike is a much smaller spike that if you push down on it will allow the larger spike to collapse down. Just like a trigger. 🤙🤙🤙

It would be great if you try other recipes, not just the same old fillet 😊 you can try putting garlic, soy sauce, salt, pepper and rub it in the fish and cover it with aluminum foil and steam it. just a.suggestion 😊

I still Absolutely LOOVEEE the catch and cook Videos, I always want fish now but parents say its too expensive at stores and i have no Fishing rods. Thank you for the videos
show them that it is an investment. If you catch and eat X amount of fish then in a way that offsets meal costs. Do some simple math to prove it to them in regard to price per meal. Then you have a hobby that "paid" for itself.
Convince your parents to buy a cheap fishing rod at Walmart or whatever, and show them that fishing is a hobby that will pay for itself!
I also live in canada and idk what fish im able to eat (Ontario)
you can get started in fishing for well under 30 bucks. 10-15 for rod and reel and the rest goes to a cheap pair of needlenose pliers, a cheap fillet knife, hooks, sinkers, and maybe a lure or two. if your fishing freshwater then then basically everything is edible. some fish are bonier and some dont taste as good but none will kill ya.

I used to go deep sea fishing every year in golf of Mexico and used to catch triggers all the time and they are definitely good to eat

Trigger fish are edible. Because of their thick skins, it is best to just throw them on a grill. The armor helps cook everything like a tin foil
