This is perfect timing for me, my room is supper small and I’ve used up every inch of space and I really need to get my room and our sewing closet and our yarn cabinet organized so thank you for the motivation!

I may have an idea on how you could display the fabrics that you want to display. You could put them on a pin board. You know like those brown boards that you can hang up.

I would organize your scraps by color as well so then if you know you need to make a pink bow you can just grab it.

Don’t know how you organized but I have found clear plastic bags are best for small items like beads, pins, hooks and eyes etc. I put the bags in my drawers and then it is easy to root around and find what I need. you can get tiny bags at Walmart in the craft area. You can put lace and trims in zip bags and then put them in a drawer also. You will be surprised how much you can get in a drawer when all the items are in bags. I use gallon bags for items like interfacing and leftover odd pieces of fabric. You can wash out bags you used for food and use them for sewing items to save some money. I am 64 yo and still have a scrap of material from my 8th grade graduation dress that I made. Oh, the fabric you will have by the time you are my age.
