#26 Haftarah Shemini - Examples of Levitical Priests vs the Melchizedek Priesthood

- In this week’s haftorah, we see a parallel between the Levite sons of Aaron, Nadav and Avihu in the Torah Parashah who died in the presence of God from adding to God's instructions and Uzzah a Kohath Levite who died from disregarding what God had commanded and draw the inference that according to Deut. 4:2 we are not to Add to God's word by or Subtract from it! Then we look at the Melchizedek priesthood model of living out the Word in Samuel and King David and dissect the prophecies given to King David about his future seed who God would use to Shepherd His people, build the future temple and return the exiles of Israel and then Pastor Isaac lays out the Scriptural fulfillment past, present and future! Taken from 2 Samuel 6:1-7:17

@100:28 its true it does say "Messiah" for Isaiah 42:1 in Aramaic Targum,
Behold my Servant, the Messiah whom I bring, My chosen in whom One delights; as for My WORD, I will put my Holy Spirit upon Him; He shall reveal My Judgement unto the nations.
This version says Messiah and Highlights the WORD a lot. Its awful how Messiah was deleted out of Isaiah text like that, Makes me wonder about other writings too. Anyway Beloved is coming back soon, He sees all.

This is the absolute best teaching I have heard on your channel. Thank you for your research and time. I do have a question. I understood angels to be unlike man in reproductive capacity according to Mat 22:30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” How could they mix with earthly beings if their design was not for reproduction? Respectfully.
Angels can reproduce... they just don't when they are following the will of YHVH as His messengers. This is a common misunderstanding as the question asked and answered was about those resurrected (as in the kingdom the resurrected will be focused solely on doing the will of YHVH) but there will also be others in the Millennial kingdom who haven't gone through death and resurrection who will still be having children. The book of Enoch also speaks of the angel (Watchers) having relations with the daughters of men before the flood confirming this.
Concerning this;
Melchizedek, King - Priest - Messiah and the ransom for many.
The whole idea of Ransom is to find an equivalent to fit the ransom demand.
In our case the only equivalent would be a greater life and thus we find Jesus fulfilling this demand as a Priest after the order of Melchizedek and the power of an endless life.
In the act of his self-sacrifice and in accordance with his father's will. The ransom is paid (in more than full) and all the forfeited lives of sin are redeemed.
No earthly King could ever solicit such devotion, loyalty and love from his people.
That's why the Son of Man is KING of Kings.
Take time to express gratitude and thankfulness in offering a sacrifice of praise to Him who full-filleth all and all.
For he is our God and we are his ransomed / redeemed people.

Daniel saw the statue with a head of gold with its historical import.
John sees a vision of Jesus in the ascended, exalted Melchizedekian office as the King Priest with a living voice like a feast trumpet speaking pertinent things for the moments at hand.
Saul in his Throne Vision Call on the road to Damascus must have seen the glorious piercing light of this Melchizedek as he rules and reigns
And I might add, He continues to Rule and Reign for all Eternity even unto the Ages of Ages Amen!

This is knowledge passed down in Judiasm you learn at yeshiva which state that our sages (Tanchuma Korach 5) have said that Korach (a Levite) was deceived by his mental eye, since he foresaw a chain of illustrious descendants among his offspring including the prophet Samuel (thus a Levite as well), but also there is an obscure reference to him like Moshe and Aaron as Levites in Psalm 99:6 where David says, "Moshe and Aharon among His kohanim, and Shmuel among them that call upon His Name"
If one’s family name is Levin, Levi or Levy, does it mean they are descended from the Levites?

Yeshua is the son of God.. I love so much of your teaching . Yeshua is the Messiah and king of everyone. He went to the cross and his blood covered our sins for our salvation. He is the complete sacrifice for our sins. We don’t need any other blood to cover our sins ..because his blood paid it all. He will return in the second coming.. and The Jews that don’t accept him a Messiah yet will.I too have Jewish Heritage. The Jewish people are the apple of his eye. Yeshua is Lord. I know him so well not just but facts but from a personal relationship with my Holy Messiah..and savior.
So yahusha isnt the only priest of melkizedeck?
Melkizedeck is a "title" for "righteous king" who officiates as priest of all the covenants.
Yahusha doesn't have a dust nature. No dna. Right?
He was man and called himself "son of man" so yes his body was made of the same "dust nature" as ours.

11, Ephryim has become a simple dove without heart; they have called on Mitsrayim (Egypt); they have gone to Ashshur (Iran).
13, Woe to them!, for they have strayed from Me!
Destruction to them!

didn't promise eternal life for obedience.
The New Covenant promises eternal life for obedience,

Yashua is the mediator of a better Covenant with better promises,

the New.
The old covenant was given written on stone.
The New Covenant gives the same tora/law written in our hearts,

Romans 2: 15
providing a love for it.
The old covenant was given to national Israel, a physical entity.
The New Covenant is today given to those few chosen before the foundation of the world to be the firstfruits, a Spiritual entity.
