That was better than most wildlife TV programmes. Many seem too keen on the exotic. That casual swimmy mooch through some 'local' caves and coves , all slathered in reality with loads happening, was a pleasure to watch .
Time they offered you at least a pilot miniseries as a tester for market. That could have gone out on air with very little finessing .
Took me back years to when my granddad and great'uncle Garb' would harvest from the rock-pools etc and cook stuff up in a metal bucket on a driftwood fire. Loved it as a kid back in the '60's .
Proper bobby'dazzler of an 'episode' there.

Putting the scientific name of the various creatures you encounter is really good but I must point out an error on your part. At 16.25 you show a lesser spotted dogfish and you have shown the Latin name as Scyliorhinus canicla. This is incorrect, the proper scientific name is Bait Robbing Bastardio - at least that's what we call them round out neck of the woods.

I’ve caught dogfish by hand before but sneaking up on the flounder was a new one. I find the key is calm. Fish can sense an attack by the way things move. So a calm approach and the right angle. 😉👍🏻🐟
