Tainan feels pretty right as a city for me. It's like the Adelaide (my home city) of Taiwan, but my intuition says that there may be something in Hualien or the mountains of Nantou for me, once I decide to discover more of the island. Yet to be determined, but I'm on the right rock, I think. 🙂 Round 2 looked amazing, too.

We are from Vancouver BC, we plan to move to Tainan or Kaohsiung, Taiwan when I retire. Have been to Kaohsiung a few times in the past (wife's niece is there). Really enjoy it there.

小琉球確實是一個很適合度假的地方
但不是一個適合定居的地方
首先 和其他偏遠地區同樣問題 醫療及教育資源稀缺
如果你來小琉球定居
你的孩子國中畢業後就必須離家自己去本島讀高中 因為小琉球只有一間國中 沒有高中 (更不用說教育資源的問題)
再者醫療資源 如果您年老之後 或者有急性的症狀 島上只有診所
最近的醫療中心是東港安泰或輔英 這代表你有突發狀況的話必須還要搭半個小時左右的救護船
更不用說是以後需要定期回診 或開刀住院的狀況 幾乎都要往高雄跑
再來 發展性的問題 島上觀光業已經逐漸飽和 傳統漁業也逐漸沒落
就業機會說多也不多 除非您自己開間民宿渡假村
不然南部+離島的薪資可沒想像中那麼優渥 這也是當地年輕人幾乎都不在島上的原因
島上民宿超過半數以上都是本島有一定經濟實力的人過來蓋的
所以嘛......喜歡的話把這邊當作個放長假度假的地方
來定居.......需要三思~

這其實只要高雄港跟小琉球間有一條快速飛船就解決了，可以住在適合度假然後去適合上班轉錢的高雄，可以動大手術的高雄,,,,,,,
可以住在適合度假的小琉球，然後去高雄上班賺錢購物就醫社交，只要有一條連通兩地的快速飛船就好了
旅遊和定居真的是兩回事，親身經歷過的人才能體會。

We went on that short kayak excursion this past summer and had an amazing time. Even saw some sea turtles while we were paddling and swimming.

太潮濕的地方真的盡量不要住，除了所有每一樣東西都發霉之外，還會容易讓呼吸系統變成嚴重過敏狀態

我覺得三亞也是不錯地方在海南島.他的沙灘海岸很漂亮又長.亞龍灣以前去過很好看但是要收門票不過還好不會很貴不像其他地方觀音像超貴們票又沒什麼.千萬不要去海角天涯門票進去是中間分兩邊走可是最後結果都是要回到中間才能再去另一邊沒有環繞.左邊走到底是幾個類似少數民族的石頭裝飾.右邊比較遠中間有浮潛要另外收費走到最後就是一個小小沙灘然後2個很大石頭就是所謂的天涯海角石.覺得很爛我給她改名應該要叫山窮水盡才對.還有一點他一年四季都很熱我12月中還有30幾度要去12月底去或1-2月去就不會太熱夏天應該會超過40度吧我也不知道.
