You just got out in the woods together awesome. We're coming up over Thanksgiving camping and scouting for a canoe camping trip in the spring. We want to check out Cedar river flow, Bog river flow and St. Regis canoe area. Although A-liner camping we are bringing the canoe to paddle if no ice. Thanks for the videos for us to enjoy.
Thanks for watching. We have a cedar river video if you havent seen it yet. There is a state campground nearby called Fish Creek and Rollins pond if you want a campground in the St. Regis area. From those campgrounds you can paddle all over. Stop in at the canoe outfitters and get a paddle map.
Very little browse and deer food under those hemlocks. Like a desert but appears to be good hiking. What are the deer feeding on and where? That's where I would be. We called days like that "bluebird" days and that's when we would go exploring to new areas because you weren't likely to see deer moving on days like that.
Well this was a bluebird day indeed. This area is a peninsula, hemlocks near the water and hardwoods in the middle. It’s nice to be able to sneak in quietly under the hemlocks to get to the hardwoods.
