Thanks for these great videos. I recently got my A10e...Love it! One question I have, is there any possibility of connecting my A10e to my TV using an HDMI cable + adapter (i.e. USB-C to HDMI Adapter piece)? I realize that screen mirror is an option, but for gaming the HDMI cable provides a better/faster connection. Also if using a VPN on the phone, the IP address needs to be the same as the main router, so screen mirroring doesn't work. Thanks so much!

Great, just bought the phone today, very useful guide for beginners. This may have cleared something up for me. If the phone is inactive for a while, the screen dims then goes off completely, to get going again I press the power button, I take it this is the correct and only way the screen will become active again? Reason why I ask is that my previous Motorola phone responded to a swipe across the screen after the screen went black..

I watch Amazon prime and Netflix on my phone but I'm getting a black screen but the audio is still going. And on Netflix there is a frozen picture and yet the audio works on that as well.......any ideas on fixes??? Not tech savvy so.....

Another option that seems to be left off this model, double tap to wake up phone. This was on my 2yr old LG. On the A10e you have to press the on/off button.

I seemed to get the wifi part right, but I think due to it being an old Samsung that I had, getting onto FACEBK, & trying to download whatsapp was taking too much time & causing prob! Hi, I recently bought this exact type of phone and am having issues with it. My old phone was hacked into and then broken, and I was forced to buy the one your video is based on. Even after getting it turned on and set up, I can't call it or make calls from it or send texts or receive texts. I keep being told that the number is restricted or the device is restricted. Is there a way to fix that? I believe the number I have was transferred to my device (supplier said for me to not turn the phone off for 24 hours, and I left it on for around 28 hours before trying to make a call and send a text).
I need to know how to get rid of the pop up when your on the phone, it's got the note pad app, calendar, messaging, alarm and volume apps in this pop up. It is totally in the way, I want it gone. There's also something wrong when I call someone and they answer, within 5 or so second the screen goes black and I cannot get the screen back on, you can't do anything, that is so annoying!!
Omg with 2 gb ram, this phone was slow if you use android auto in your car. Even if you don’t, there’s a lag switching between apps. And charging the battery is so slow but yet it drains fast. I had to return it. Only good things are the price, screen brightness , and it’s light.

Yes!! The very FIRST thing I do with ANY new phone is download Zedge! They have awesome wallpapers, ringtones, and notification sounds!!! And its FREE!!!!!!!
You can set no password (not recommended) or a pattern unlock. You should be able to see the full list of options in the security/passcode section. Do keep in mind that if you set no passcode, anyone can get into your phone if you were to loose it or get it stolen. They will more or less have full access to anything on the phone.

(The clerk transferred contacts from old phone to new.) I think you have to either be an AARP member yourself, or be on an AARP members Consumer Cellular's Plan. phone plan.

Use smart view in your toolbar. You have to buy a unit to work with your TV. About 38$

There will be a notification in the drop down menu at the very top of the screen.
