@backlandjbreaker24 I think in the epilogue specifically, yeah. He's always shouting jovially when greeting NPCs "You, mister!" and swaggers around like a character in a sitcom who's just walked out of "his first time".
I don't thinkhe's always cold-hearted. He has several moments with Bonnie, Mr. McFarlane, Marshall Johnson, Landon Ricketts, & Luisa or several stranger characters where he's respectful, friendly, & even jovial & helpful when it wouldn't benefit him. He's simply surrounded by hostile strangers for most of the story which is why he's often on edge.
@@backlandjbreaker24 Yeah, it seems like people only see or remember the viral "savage" moments he has with those characters & make it his whole personality. Even saying that Arthur was kinder & more moral as a result.
@@realQuestion Is it? That's pretty much my view too. My OP is simply longer because I list the different characters who John was respectful and/or friendly with and I end by saying that he's just surrounded by mostly hostile people, hence the usual aggression. Unless you simply meant you express it simpler.
1:18 John enjoying the taste of dinner 💀
In RDR2 John always act like the happiest man alive 😂😂

My view is a little simpler: I think both John and Arthur were nice back to anyone who was nice to them. Anyone else...nope.

@@themadtitan7603 Yes. I just said it more simply since you already listed some examples :)
