Back in 1998 I did a home video of Music Of Mexico, this was one of my favorite pieces.this was one of twenty I memorized and recorded on guitar. One of seven by Ponce.

Muy bien hecho, buena ejecución y que sonido saca de tan buen instrumento. Mi primer acercamiento de esta obra al menos en Audio fue con David Russell y creo (al menos para mí) sigue siendo una de las mejores versiones tanto en vivo como en disco. Que genialidad la música de Ponce.

It’s beautiful… but I think only Mexicans can realize that this piece was made to be played slower… the rushing. I’m the thirds is just taking some maximum beauty of the piece 😓…. I would love to see this amazing guitarist playing it
