I saw this video 3 weeks ago, but never left a comment! Despite the fire and huge black smoke. The view of Glendale is pretty nice! I love the mountain view too! 💜 Living there might be a whole different story though!
Well first off thank you for coming back. It really is beautiful here. I've got a few other vids up on my page other than the fire that has some pretty good views of the area. Please check them out.
Talk about a 'bird's-eye view' (sorry - just had to say that). That is a significantly better view than from the ground. The stabilization is remarkable. I would have a watched an hour of this.
There were so many mini explosions and big ones too. I wish it had sound so you could have heard them. The whole time I was flying, all 3 vids I have up, the explosions were happening.
Thanks man. There are a few other vids on my page. Check them out. They are edited and all. These fire vids are raw footage. I uploaded as it was happening.
@whatsthatguydoing I'm sure there were a few, especially at the site lol. But for the most part they had the roads blocked until that evening about 7pm. But they were spraying wedsneday morning when I went to work. So it took 4 days for them to get it completly out
Two businesses there involved. A roofing company with bales and tanks of combustibles and a recycling company with big giant piles of shredded plastics. Both of these ticking time bombs.
Watch the billboard smoke and peel off, then flames coming out of it by the end. And what's with these guys setting up so far away from the fire that they might as well not have been there?
Around 4.04 the billboard picture start to fall...I wonder what that building was directly beside the left side of the billboard. It slowly catches on fire and by the end there’s no hope. Hope no one was inside. And just my opinion, but looks like the the fire engines could use more water.
Police doing a "bang - up" just of traffic control here!! The fire dept is hanging so far back it becomes 100% obvious that road should have been closed for safey. But what's worse, the fire department actually created a bottleneck that could have potentially trapped civilians in harms way. Thuis is really crappy public safety.
Did that engine @5:14 drive through something flammable and cause a flare up under the rig....or was it a shadow?
Seen that too ! Definitely not a shadow .. Looked like it jerked the hell out of the fire truck too 🤷🤷

Respect to the camera man that was hanging on the drone for 8 minutes straight. 👍
He's a tough lil fu$#%@

@5:13 WHAT WAS THAT WITH THE FIRE TRUCK ON FIRE ON THE RIGHT SIDE DOWN THE ROAD???????
Uhhhhhh at 5:12 did anyone notice the fireball almost engulfing that engine??

Oh I did see thar. There must have been some fuel in that puddle he went through. That's my guess
Very good quality footage. 🇬🇧 👍
Thank you
It would be helpful if you added a description as to what kind of business was burning
I just noticed there was no description.
good shots
Whoa, i just noticed the shadow being cast by the smoke reaching miles
There may some footage of the smoke trail on one of the other vids on my page bit I'm not sure honestly, because I haven't watched them yet lol.
what was burning ? look at 5:14 flames come from fire truck as it drives through liquid
Very good footage, need film more long time videos. Congrats u for this work, i hope more of this without cuts.

Really good video, really hot fire. It appears that the FD took a defensive stance from a distance.
They kinda had too. I walked out my front door, about 2 blicks away and could feel the heat. It was a very hot fire
@@glendroneaz couldn't imagine how many cars had melted paint

Hello~nice !🤩
Thank you 🤗❤
some engines applying water on the other end by the highway would have been helpful in controlling the fire, seems that side was on free burn.
5:11 Fire truck on right side of frame triggers an explosion

Did anyone else see the fire truck catch on fire as it drove down the street

I think that maybe the fire was
so hot that they couldn’t get any closer
photographers could not have asked for a better background to a "you do you" billboard
Just give credit lol
7:00 traffic control clusterf**k

There's a couple of people below complaining the traffic was stopped. You should debate it with them.
This is a terrible fire department
Which one? There were 3 there. Please be more specific on how to handle an out of control plastic fire?
F.Fighters need to review this!!
