Racist Terror Attack in Hanau: The Police Operation (EN)

On 19 February 2020, nine people were murdered in a racist terror attack in Hanau, Germany. After the attack, the perpetrator went to his house, where he killed his mother, and himself. Police knew the perpetrator's address early on but did not storm the house for almost five hours. We were asked by the victims' families and the Initiative 19. Februar to examine how the police operation unfolded.

All capitalist countries have corrupt police.
“Corruption” - you did not filter anything they said, they start from false premises. They said the noise floor is 25 dB and then worked from there - that’s acoustic anechoic chamber levels, completely unrealistic for outside and then they think outside is complete silence + helicopter noises - pretty sure the cops heard many other noises outside, besides sitting in cars and speaking between themselves, drowning a gun shot in an apartment far away…

What audiology software did you use for the gunshot analysis? I went to your website, but didn't see much in terms of a provider.
Excellent investigation as always! My only question would be what sort of ear protection were the special forces officers wearing that night, and could this have contributed to their inability to hear the shots from their positions? Many thanks
They undoubtedly had to have had some kind of earpieces or headsets that would have absolutely contributed.
You don’t need ear protection, it’s enough to speak with your partner and that would drown any far away noise in an apartment + they probably waited in cars

Ok hold on a minute here is your screw up, you guys did the test of the gun shots in a field, not in a city where it happened. There is buildings, windows, cars, traffic ect... so noise so you didn't take that into account. The noise of tvs ect..
They said they recreated it in "an architecturally identical building", so I'm assuming it's just a neighboring building. Further corroborated by "we don't want to re-traumatize the neighbors" said later in the video when they say why they lowered the volume.
You are making a lot of wrong assumptions to drive a point, starting with a noise floor completely unrealistic(you mentioned the values that would pass for an acoustic anechoic chamber, not a regular house in a city - a quick Google shows the floor to be 30-35 dB for suburbs and can easily be 40-45 dB in cities and that’s inside a house, you are applying that to people being outside…). Then the cops outside you consider them to be in an anechoic chamber + helicopter noises - there are a lot more noises outside, especially if they speak between themselves or sit in cars
Please the deadliest in modern history because thats not true there is others. So call it what it is mental illnesses and distorted people.
