If a Darklord has the Domain's borders open, anyone can enter the Mists around that Domain and maybe (but probably not) end up in a random other Domain. If someone has a Mist talisman keyed to a particular Domain, they can have the travel take them to that Domain. Many Vistani understand and have access to Mist talismans, allowing them to direct where they go.
@@strangeassembly5595 Thanks for the answer. But what I mean is; I heard they removed the "Domain" of Dread and made each province surrounded by sea in the new book. No lands are connected. Is this true or is it still one just Continent?
@@hasenfangmusic It is pretty bad. While there is a lot to like in the new book, it isn't Ravenloft. It is a drunk doppelganger pretending to be Ravenloft. All the back stories were dumbed down or changed. The entire core is gone. It is pretty painful honestly. I was so excited for this when I heard it was coming out. But Damn was I disappointed. They didn't even respect the old material enough to include a section for converting old campaigns to the new material. They almost literally ignored everything that came before. I mean they could have just put in a few paragraphs like, 'Azalin, in his attempt to escape Ravenloft, performs a ritual that shatters time and reality'. Or something like that. If you have the old books, use them and just use the first half of the book if you get it.

Thanks for getting a review up for this!
Sooo, I guess the Vistani don't have travelling caravans from domain to domain anymore?

@@hasenfangmusic You've heard correctly. Everything is separate and its own demiplane. There's no 'continent' anymore.
@@strangeassembly5595 Yuck.

Can you do hour long videos everybody else who talks about the subject just looks into the camera and talks I'm here for images and lore
Interesting to hear. I have wondered if folks like the 'look into the camera' better for a more personal touch.
