It's nice though because Sid was able to just be himself around Cassie, where as he was always on edge or nervous around Michelle because of his crush on her and low self esteem. The downside though was Sid couldn't see what's staring him in the face because all he could think of was Michelle. It wasn't until episode 6 I think that he starts to reflect on that.
I'm surprised neither Sid or Michelle immediately reacted to the guy as soon as they saw her next to Cassie. Especially considering Freddie practically has an internal panic attack whenever Effy is within 10 metres of another guy
Found this scene pretty sad first time I watched it but having watched the whole of inbetweeners since, I can't take this scene seriously now I know that's Jay
I hate to be that person but this isn't rehab, it's a mental health ward. It's cool! It's just people who have been in either might find it a bit insulting or insensitive when you use the incorrect phrase No hate or anything by any means 😘 ❤️
“You tried to kill yourself because of me” Meanwhile cassie puts her head down and rolls her eyes. She seems annoyed. I’d be annoyed to hear someone think that my attempt was because they broke up with me. Cassie is a complex person. Certainly not simple enough to make her entire world rely on one male teenager.
Am I the only one who found this a bit insulting to anyone who's been in a mental health clinic lol? And I know cos I've visited people in them and I can tell you it's nothing like this and it's not a complete looney bin 😂 I know it's just a TV show I don't mind really but just pointing it out
Yeah and I think it's for me personally it's more that a girl like Cassie: who just has depression and an eating disorder, would be in the same ward as people who are genuinely delusional and not in touch with reality at all. To Rahul Kemp, I think I take it more personally because my mother was in one. But like in the acute ward, which Cassie would have been in. And people weren't like completely crazy there or anything and having these delusions about meeting prince's or shooting rockets into the air. They were just very very sad more than anything But I don't know it's not really something that's as funny when you've lived through it personally, like I'm actually quite traumatised over the whole thing so it can be a bit insulting for something like this to be like "oh haha look at these crazies" I could accept it more if it was a comedy and not supposed to be taken seriously, but Skins is supposed to be taken seriously I don't know, maybe its just me. But it's how I feel about it and I think how I feel is valid. Obviously it is just a TV show and I can get on with life, but I still can acknowledge it was a bit off an odd and not very PC directorial and storytelling decision of theirs
@rahul Kemp, also it might not be insulting to you, but it could be to someone else. I don't think you can speak for everyone who's been in a mental health ward lol It's a TV show and I can get on with life, but it's just something I notice and no one else can tell me the right way to react to it. It was a feeling that I had and I had every right to feel it No hate or anything 😘 ❤️
I found it more insulting how much they romanticised mental illness in the third and forth series with Effy’s storyline. The NHS mental health system is underfunded and over stretched. It is not that easy to be referred to a psychiatric hospital or a rehabilitation facility.
That's right. The interior scenes are not filmed there but the exterior ones are. They use a lot of local locations. Queen Square, College Green, Brandon Hill, the Royal Fort House is used for the posh school in S4E3.
I find it interesting how Sid and Michele are the only one's in dark clothes while everyone around them is in pastels and white. Maybe representing the darkness from the outside world the people at the facility are trying to escape?
He wants me.
I do.
But he can never have me!
Im hopeful!
Its just perfect isn't it?
Omg true
She wanted to show Sid how he did the same
@@magdawegrowska2039 ahhah...
I love Cassie acting she always looks like she is in another world 😂❤️
she reminds me of luna lovegood

“You will?”
“Yea,thats the problem”
“Because if it didn't end, it was forever.”
sid reminds me of ron from harry potter lol
And Cassie reminds me of Luna Lovegood
Same😜😜
And tony reminded abit of tom riddle in the beginning for obvious reasons...
Ron is way better person than Sid
Weirdos Club love this
Poor sid. He never knew how Cassie really felt about him.
Which was weird how she began to like him.

I find it funny that's jays name in this is Simon
DOOM4ME_16 i find it funny that your 11 months late replying to that comment mate. 😂 jkjk lmao
Stressed Kiddo I find it funny that I’m 11 months late replying to your comment
technically jay is short for James. Not that ‘Jay Fitch’ or ‘Jay Cook’ feel right tho
So where do we know him from?
Also Will's actor is called Simon, so basically Blake Harrison just needs to be called Simon in some show or film to complete the Simon Puzzle
When I realised it was Jay I grinned and when I heard the dialogue between them I burst out laughing
Ikr lmaoooo
who?

Plot Twist. That mental health institution was actually the real Caravan Club.
How does jay actually look not bad in this😂
Yes he looks so cuteeee
It's the hair. I guess they purposely gave him a shit hairstyle for The Inbetweeners to suit the character.
@@Scallion_D same with every inbetweener tbh, especially Simon
@@Scallion_Dthat’s his actual hairstyle. he still has it today lol
Technically this is the closest we ever came to a crossover of Skins and The Inbetweeners

THAT WAS JAY FROM THE INBETWEENERS!!!
Its funny how Simon is basically Jay if he was in rehab
i have those EXACT glasses
Jay Cartwright in Skins
Jay from the inbetweeners
So Jay was in a mental hospital before the inbetweeners
yes
James Buckley looks so young on here he was 20 aswell
Go on Jay!!!!!
The harp should have been playing "La fille aux cheveux de lin", not "Clair de Lune" since Cassie has flaxen hair.
That’s Simon from Inbetweeners lol
It's Jay, not Simon.
Well i never! Jay Cartright in Skins
Cassie speaks like my nan
