My guess is it was cut for time. And i think its great to see the story happen, but when maxxie introduces him to everyone in class and then they hold hands out of nowhere was a great surprise. I think it actually worked out as a good surprise that we get to learn the back story of later. Although i am upset that i didnt see this 5 years ago. >:I
i love how skins plays with my feelings. at the beginning of the video i hated sketch SO much and right at the very end i felt so bad for her. good for maxxie and james, though!

@movietvshowJBfan Well since they cut it they could have changed the script since it was way later. Also this was early in the year so by the time that Maxxie and James get together they would have had two years to get to know their classmates and therefore know James then (:
