Thanks heaps for your review! It was a perfect review as I was planning to use this mic on my camera, and the clip breaking easily is definitely a no-no for me. Deeply appreciated!
@@LensVid Thanks. I was trying USB-C to USB-A cable from its package. Now I tried another USB-C to USB-A cable and it worked. Probably the cable in the box is faulty. Thanks man.
Thanks! There's some kind of basic, automatic noise reduction or low pass happening once the level gets high enough to trigger it, but no way to control it.
@@Seanonyoutube Oh gotcha. Yeah I wonder if what you are referring to is a byproduct of 16-bit recording, the mic's physical design, or a programming/firmware issue. The automatic noice canceling acted strangely at times, like in the video when I went past the street performer, so even from that alone the voice pickup might be impacted.
This is a best review I ever seen
Great review and tests, thx!
This is a great review, very informative and concise, you brought issues that i wasn't considering
Extremely informative thanks ❤

My receiver clip snapped off the receiver too! And it happened while I was out and about. The spring flew God knows where.
Thank you for the review!
Can it handle motovlogging noise such as peaking from loud background noise regarding of the mic being in a place where wind doesnt get to it?
How did you transfer onboard recordings to pc from the transmitter? I connected it via USB-C to my computer but nothing happened.
I think I had trouble using a generic USB-C to C cable. When I tried the included C-A cable it worked. Hope that helps, and if so, don't lose that?

This is the best budget mic I could find for my purposes, but the noise cancelling. I just can't get around being unable to disable it.
Good review. By your video i can say Nosie reduction is zero on Am18.

Action 3 is use??
I was using the Insta360oneR in 4K mode; however, I am considering a new action cam, and I am leaning toward the Action 5 now.
Where is this "safety" channel?? I turn it on and all i get is a lowered gain audio.. not a second audio channel.???
Terrible voice pickup
You are right. I'll work on that for next time! Thank you for the feedback. 🙏
@@lewlionhug not from your studio, i’m talking about the mic you reviewed

@@luisandradevideo Do you find that gives you a cleaner recording that you can raise the level on in post without so much noise?
