After removing the front fender? wasn't there any thing on the side just below the spring holding the hood? When i removed mine, there was, i think, a light range regulator and another part which i have no idea.

It unclips from from the side. Can't remember which side though. There is a single metal spring holding it in, push is sidewards and pull down.
