Ce qui est passionnant, c’est d’avoir suivi l’évolution de Gert van Hoff, et de voir la progression de ses interprétations des mêmes œuvres d’années en années… Il y’a bien des différences, mais le même génie, le même plaisir transmis entre le musicien, et l’auditeur.
That organ is phenomenal. Thank you Gert and Mr. Benard for letting us know just how phenomenal. Watching Gert play the stops on “Pirates” was hella fun. The brief glimpses of the restored church filled with parishioners made the concert all the more enjoyable. From California with gratitude and love.

Stunning program!!! Gert, is definitely a world-class organist and he proves it every time he sits on that organ bench. The lovely melodies you create with your improvisations and registrations really add something unique to the pieces you play. It gives us all so much joy.

Terri , I watch for your faithful commentary on each video. Appreciate seeing the same sense of delight and awe at seeing this young master at work. You are truly a gifted man with abilities above and beyond the normal organist., I've watched you again and again,. This concert is one that I will rewatch several times. Hopefully someday you'll have a USA tour!!
Regret I was unable to chat with fellow audience members today because I was at "dunch" with my wife, who has two Christmas concert rehearsals this evening at our normal dinner time. I have greatly missed our weekly chats during Gert's live performances. This program could easily be called a "best of" concert, although narrowing to 10 "best of" pieces would be ridiculously difficult for me to do. For what the hall lacked in acoustics for the introductory remarks, it certainly offered superb sound for the music played on a topnotch organ. Gert's version of "Abide with me" is almost daily the first piece I call up on my Brennan B2 with its room-filling surround sound. Gert, thank you for sharing this magnificent concert.

Another captivating concert Gert. Disappointed I missed the live chat. Alarm was set but strong medication & 3am start won out. Great opener for a German audience - loved your extra flourishes in the first three bars. Not sure if they were in Bach's original score, but I doubt the great improviser would have minded.

Don't know what to say. You just left me stunned. The final piece was outstanding, the performance as well as the variety of sounds that particular organ provides.
I just did some research of this organ. I cost almost a Million Euros in 2010 and was built by a swiss company only a few km from my place🙂
Brilliantly played & especially Gert who puts a lot of effort into his playing. Not sure I've heard this on the organ before.

The first part was a bit different than I'm used to. Are there alternate notes indicating this version? Or is this Gert being extra inventive today. I am a traditionalist, but I liked it.

Bei "Amazing Grace" kann man sehen, was "Alle Register ziehen" wirklich bedeutet.

Als ambassadeurs voor Christus ( 2 Korintiërs 5:20) delen wij graag met u het evangelie van redding in de dispensatie van God Zijn genade. “Genade kan gedefinieerd worden als de onverdiende gunst van God voor mensen die Zijn veroordeling verdienen.”
God rekent ons geen zonden aan omdat er al voor betaald is (elke zonde voor elke persoon). Christus werd gemaakt om de zonde van iedereen te zijn (2 Korintiërs 5:21). Volledige verzoening wordt echter pas bereikt als een individu zich "verzoent" met God (2 Korintiërs 5:20). Dit gebeurt door geloof in het evangelie van onze zaligheid. De hele mensheid is vergeven, maar niet iedereen gelooft het. Vergeven worden staat niet gelijk aan gered worden, redding komt door geloof. Redding wordt toegeëigend door geloof, vergeving van zonden NIET. Je zonden zijn vergeven, ongeacht je geloof. God had jouw geloof op Golgotha niet nodig, Hij had alleen Zijn Zoon nodig.
REDDING wordt alleen verkregen door op Christus te vertrouwen - via geloof in het woord van de waarheid (het evangelie van onze redding). Redding IS door werken, alleen niet die van onszelf. Het is niet uit onszelf, maar door de gave van Gods genade dat we gered worden. Bij het HOREN van het evangelie, als we het evangelie GELOVEN, worden we verzegeld met de heilige Geest van belofte tot de dag van verlossing (Efeziërs 1:13-14). Een verloren ziel kan alleen worden gered door erop te vertrouwen dat Christus alles heeft gedaan wat nodig is voor onze redding door middel van Zijn volbracht kruiswerk. Romeinen tot en met Filemon zijn de enige boeken in de bijbel die uitleg geven over redding voor vandaag. In die boeken vinden we dat redding alleen door geloof is, alleen in Christus, zonder-enige-werken-van-wat-van-aard-dan-ook. Christus stierf voor uw zonden en is opgestaan voor uw rechtvaardiging (1 Korintiërs 15:1-4). Stel uw geloof in wat Hij deed in plaats van in wat u hebt gedaan, doet of gaat doen. Redding is niet vergeving krijgen van je zonden, het is geloven dat ze dat al zijn. (2 Korintiërs 5:19)

M'a te shooter ça en québécois mon Gert. Tu as peur du français québécois les gens de Montréal la poutine bon calvaire je vais te donner un cour. Saches que la poutine ici n'a rien a voir avec la Russie. C'est un plat très riche en calories qui consiste avec des patates frites, du fromage en grains comme juste au Québec ça existe avec une sauce épicée à la canadienne alors bienvenu au Canada mon Gert. Parler Allemand bon ici tu en trouveras. Gutentag :)
