Stumbled across your page because I am preparing for a CRM interview (zero clinical research experience) but your content is seriously what I needed. It’s perfect, and I think you delivered the information is the most concise effective way! You’re someone I definitely look up to!
Awesome! I've always wanted to visit South Africa (especially Cape Town). Hopefully, one day in the future. Good luck with the interview and thank you for watching!
@@MarioDeSouza thank you so much. The interview was today and I’m hopeful that I will get the position. I will keep you posted. Please come visit South Africa, we would be glad to have you. Cape Town is beautiful, you will love each and every second of it.
The two positions are completely different. Dan Sefra has a video comparing that two: ruclips.net/video/pkD3c0sxUV8/видео.html. I may put out an updated video in the future as the video is a little dated.
Lots of entry level jobs but it's all about luck with timing for CROs. If you can connect with someone internally they'd likely know when to apply. You absolutely need SC, CTA or inhouse CRA experience. Also, look at smaller pharma companies as they are more likely to take on entry level candidates. Good luck!
Historically, I recommended working in a CRC position first, at least for a year, to get all the basics of clinical research down. However, in recent years, places are more open to training complete entry level CRAs given how hard it is to hire those with experience. Apply and see if you land any interviews.
Unfortunately, this isn't a question I can provide much insight on as I've never looked for a job in another country. My best advice would be to visit Canada and network with people that do the role you're interested in.
Unfortunately, I don't know too much about visa sponsorship. I doubt most CROs would sponsor someone for a work visa in the United States (it's possible some pharma companies might). I know it's far easier in nursing and a few other fields that are in demand. That said, I would think the best way is to get in with a global CRO in your home country and see if they are willing to transfer him.
Thank you for this. It helped me prepare for my first Entry CRA interview after working in research for 15 years. I received an offer a week later.
Congratulations Jessica! Glad to have been part your journey into the CRA world.
Which country do u live ?
@@okpolihenry983: United States
@@MarioDeSouza i think should relocate to the US
Congratulations!
I also want to change after 20 years in research but not called for single interview since long!
Preparing for my first-ever CRA interview and came across your video!! Thanks for keeping it short and simple. I will be using your tips!
Good luck with the interview! Keep me posted on how it goes.

You’re amazing, Mario! Thank you for your insight.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. I’m watching from South Africa and preparing for the interview. This was really helpful.

Great information!! More of these
Currently working as a SC lol it's festive and I'm watching this without any interview invites.
You'll get interview invites. Just keep applying and don't get discouraged.
Thanks. I'm back here to prepare for a clinical trial trainee interview in pharma😍😍
@@moniccamooka6754: Good luck! Let me know how it goes.
I'm back here again to prepare for a IHCRA final interview. They are flocking in and I believe I'm getting the plot
I come back. Finally in as a Centralized Monitor.❤
Mario, thank you so much for your information. I'm more calm after that.
You're welcome! Hoping my calming effect carries over into my dating life. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any clinical research questions.
Thank you for the video
Thanks for sharing Mario :)
Great information!
Thank you 🙏
Well explained, thanks
Could you please do a video on major difference between CRA and CRC?

@@MarioDeSouza thanks Mario. Keep up the good work 👍
Are there still entry level CRA jobs? Applied to almost a hundred entry CRA jobs with no success.

Nice video. Can a chemist work as a CRA? Especially with MSc in Pharmacy
