Unfortunately qhy is known for driver and connection issues. That's the experience I'm having now with my new qhy600m. I'm sure that you and Chuck are both sick of me by now, but I'll be seeing y'all real soon with my camera. I'm glad y'all do give great service.
The small surface-mount "resisters" are for providing a little extra heat. Some cameras do this without them by using some of the Peltier residual heat to leak forwards and do the same thing. Video adds a new definition for the usual "we have to add a 15% restocking fee for any returned open item". Simon
I have broken 2 USB ports on 2 different ZWO cameras from just unplugging tight connections. Even when I had the 1st gen Senso Sesto focuser, the metal micro USB housing has 2 tiny solder joints that immediately separated from the PCB. I've since bought angled or near exact length cables so nothing dangles or needs to really be unplugged from sensitive ports. I'm at the point to where QHY is my next camera because of these build quality issues. Thanks for this video!
Great Job Simon, How is everyone at the Store, sTell Farah Hi, Great Funny video, Love the plug in and play Keep them coming! Tahnks for the Share! Marty
my QHY camera dropped due to a defective nose piece/thread and now it's not working, even doe it's recognized by the PC. Do you think it's fixable or now it's just a nice paperweight? QHY customer service is in radio silence... Thanks for any suggestions
