    Tim shares some tips for hooking logs correctly and efficiently.
    A variety of logging arches are demonstrated, from a unique custom cart that slings the log completely off the ground, to some modified Pioneer arches.
    There are many teachable moments in maneuvering them mules and draft horse teams and logging carts to just the exact positions to lift, position and remove the logs safely, for both the horses and teamsters.

    I know nothing about any of this but I find it all fascinating. Especially the one in the working progress that lifts the logs nose up. Excellent 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Enjoyed the video. I have used a log arch with the slide for years and they are excellent. Unfortunately I don’t have a mule team and I use an atv to pull it.

    I am sure these people have more experience than I do, but I would think it would be easier for the horses to pull if the guys at the 13:00 mark had hooked to the other end of the log. Looks like it would slide easier and not dig into the ground as bad. Am I wrong? Does it not make any difference?

    Okay nobody end of the log to the four cart makes it work harder for the horses
