- what happens when we combine interior design styles from the 1880s with those of the 2020s? let's find out!
let's build a house but every room is a different decade... wait no... TWO different decades!! in this sims 4 build challenge i used interior design trends over the past 100+ years and combined them to build a house! spinning a wheel to decide which decades each room is inspired by, and then trying to make it look good! this challenge was SO much fun, i hope you enjoy!

Challenge Idea: Create a basegame starter-home where you roll for the amount of rooms you get say you get a 4 then you have to fit your kitchen, dining, livingroom, bedroom, and bathroom into those 4 rooms and then you also role for the size of each room. It's challenging but do-able. You can ignore the basegame or the starter-home part if you so choose but it would be fun to try!

I would be so much more likely to buy a "garage band" game pack, than the horse pack that's coming out.

I high key learned a lot in this video. I think it would be so cool to do full builds trying to recreate what a typical home from each decade would look like in its entirety. I’ve lived in houses built in the 1900s, 1910s, and 1930s and I love seeing the differences. PS Opulence ❤
Ok, this was an amazing challenge. I absolutely loved it and you definitely got all the eras right. Can you build an all 1800s, 1950s and 1980s house?

I think it would be cool to do a split room style with marvel superheroes/coordinating villains. Like split the room right down the middle and one side is a hero and one side is a villain

Having lived through the 90s the colors you were talking about in the 1880s were very much the style for the 90s in terms of design as well at least from what I can remember . Sages, Terracotta's, Ochers, Yellows, Reds were all colors that were very 90s as well as the creams and blues. and in the early 90s the Laura Ashley look was still pretty popular.

two random esthetics in a room or a radom color and style could be fun too.
a radom item and budget, a radom charater from fiction with a radom carreier/skill item.
or a radom element but with radom color, a random biome with a random art pice (daring, paintings, statues anything art).
so manny options for chaos I love it.

SARAH I HAVE BUILD CHALLENGES
1. Every room is a different color BUT using only stuff packs
2. changing the packs every 5 mins
3. using a item from every pack for each room
