- I was finally able to pin down a pattern and get on some truly big panfish this day. 11.75" crappie put a smile on anyone's face to be sure. 1/64th oz jig with a 1" curly tail grub did all the heavy lifting! Not an extremely fast way to fish but super effective this day in these conditions! Y'all get out there, Sunny Folk!! You can do it too!! Stay Safe & Stay Sunny!!

I like the pole or shoulder cam. Good ideas.
I’m gonna cut down the height of the pole cam and hope it gives a better view. I figure I will wear one on my head to get side views and one on the pole to get a steady front view
spawning blue gills 🎉
Not quite, but I could understand why you would say that! Crazy how tropical colored some of those bluegills were! They looked like they were in prime spawning colors
nice crappy!!
I was flabbergasted at how big and nice some of those crappie were! Couldn’t believe they but like that in that weather and in such shallow water! >2.5’
Man your really good I am from the around the area what are some crappie baits that are your favortie
I definitely appreciate the kind words! It’s more of a system of tackle that I use and the baits are just the end of it. This trip was a 1/64th oz jig with a 1” bluegill color curly tail grub. Mostly we tend to use 1/32nd oz jigs with 1.5” to 2.75” plastics. Long casts are key. I’ll try to make a vid describing our system
