My son was boxing at a show in Cheltenham a few years ago against the home club, Duke happened to be there as his son was also boxing a lad from the home club. Duke was in the warm up room for the away fighters, couldn’t have been nicer and more approachable. My lad was only 13 and duke spoke to him like he was one of his own, even said he would come down and watch my boy in his bout. True to his word he came down and supported my son. My boy won but was more excited about having his picture taken with Duke than getting his trophy. His kindness and encouragement was pure class, a true inspiration and ambassador for the sport of boxing! He has the picture framed and on his wall 🥊
Smart, articulate, philosophic and boxing great. Duke's the man.

This Duke Mackenzie is such a humble man. He talks quietly and says he was fortunate and lucky with his wins. So gracious, I really like him.

Listening to this great chap, Duke., talking...it occurs to me there’s very much an opportunity here for someone who ‘knows boxing’. These lighter weight-boxers have to be promoted much better. Much better. I believe folks would really enjoy watching their skills. As the man said: you see more skills in operation. More to see in this way.. Good man, Mr Mckenzie, you should get help and advice how to go about all this. You too, Farage my man...my hero!...Advise the man. He’s obviously a wonderful fellow. Would inspire so many young kids to learn and do the right thing...Or you you might know folks you can turn to to advise/back him’...He’s truly inspirational...

Brilliant interview Duke one of our best! The lighter divisions intensely competetive. A modest philisophical constructive man love the Juke Box Gym idea brilliant. Keeps lots youngsters out of trouble teaches dicipline and chivalry watch how Duke handles himself exemplary! Your pretty safe in a boxing gym bullies not welcome mostly they dont fancy it either.

What a great chat. Missed it live but glad to catch up on RUclips. Talking Pints is a great piece of TV and Farage has the gift of being able to chat to those he both agrees with and disagrees with on exactly the same terms, a a gift unfortunately not shared with 99.9% of TV political commentators. Well done Duke, a fine example for our sport.
