Good to know! Always keeping an eye out for Kappas, but so many have driver damage or deterioration from age. Nice that Midwest is offering a suitable replacement.
Would the brightness some people atest to be caused by the Crossovers not being reworked by simply replacing the components with new better one's of the same value ? I'm not an Infinity Expert (but i wish I was). Just a thought.
Is it possible, most certainly..likely? No, as these speakers did have solen caps so that should still spec just fine. I think as I unpacked the drivers it said on the magnet V2 , I assume they did some changes ?! But I cannot verify that
Good question never tried that , but technically you can. However you'll need to be very frugal with taking the coil wires off . As the dome is glued to the back of the faceplate (it's one whole)

Dumb question but can you replace the polydome faceplate with these?

How tall are your speaker stands?
10 inch slanted couple degrees backwards

Infinity crossovers are basic. Is there a redesign for the new driver? That is the first thing I would ask.
Not sure what you're asking/saying
