I left Laos when I was 3 months old. Have not had the chance to go back yet. I’m hoping to go see my motherland soon! Seeing these videos are really amping me up! Lol

Great video and fabulous festival. Everyone having a wonderful time. One thing I noticed is there was no rowdiness. Just families and friends getting together. You actually feel safe walking around. Over here I tend to stay away from crowds, anymore. The photos at the end were awesome. Thanks for sharing and both of you take care and stay healthy. Cheers.

Multiple festivals every full moon sounds pretty cool to me. A lot of women at these festivals too. They seem to outnumber the men at 7:1 maybe more.🤔😲👍

I have never liked being in a crowd anywhere, though I did like great Rock bands in the late sixties and early seventies.

There are many restaurants in Vang Vieng that do that everyday, but the video you're talking about was Pi Mai celebration.. Lao New Year, on the Nam Lik River Muang Fuang

How long does the festival last?
3-4 days. The trade fair around it is open a few days before that 👌
The women are dressed to kill, the food looks delicious and everyone seems to be in the festive mood, Peace.
