I've lived in Houston my entire life (until recently), have been to the museum of natural science countless times and have never been to the butterfly part of the museum.
It must be very difficult and exacting to maintain all the species of plants that these butterflies drink from. However, the biggest amazement for me was seeing a butterflies tongue! A few times you saw it all curled up before the creature was ready to drink and in others you could see its tongue actually in the flower drinking the nectar. I have to admit I never thought of butterflies as having tongues, but Hank can make even the most esoteric seem perfectly obvious.
Today was absolute shit for me, like crawling through hell. But I saw a beautiful little white butterfly outside, and it made me watch this video. And seeing stuff like this is what makes life worth living.
The video, creatures, and music are wonderful. I've never thought of Butterflies as galloping through the air, but there they are, doing just that. Watch out for Sky Cobras, and be safe.
