I don't see the point in pretending to have separate finances if you're married - your finances are already combined according to the law. Me and my husband have a shared budget (we use YNAB) where we can see every transaction we make. This helps us have a shared vision of where ALL our money is going. I have heard so many horror stories about one partner betting wads of cash on footie and the other partner having no idea... not something I'm interested in. Transparency transparency transparency.
