South East is not South South. If this Lagos-Calabar Highway is targeted at the South East then it is no more a coastal road. While there is nothing wrong to link the South Eastern corridor with this road, the South South that the road is targeted at especially as it is one of the most neglected parts of Nigeria in terms of road network will be defeated.

A leg of the road will link the South East, a spur in Ondo, and Calabar-Abuja, which will follow the South East.
