I still play the third game with my friends online to this day. It’s still a pretty active community, and the people that aren’t the little kids that bought the game just for sonic, it’s almost like a homey community, where a lot of people know each other. It’s awesome.

no matter how long lbp exists, it will always be one of the most influential pieces of media for me. my first drawing was of my sackthing characters and years later i'm still creating new worlds and stories based off of my experiences on LBP. even though ive barely been able to play the game for most of my life i still think about it almost every single day. i used to spend hours over at my friends houses just to play lbp because i didnt have a ps3 to play on myself. as much as i enjoyed owning an xbox, i would have given anything to keep playing lbp, even if that meant watching the downfall of the servers.
One thing that made lbp3 a safe place for me was the amount of friends it got me and to lbp 1 and 2 RIP (Rest In Paradise) Sumo digital isnt a bad company the reason why lbp 3 was a bit rocky at the start was because we (as in the community) asked for it too early and they delivered it early lbp 3 is like a pie that wasnt in the oven for enough time
Ah the good old days seeking to be relight but we can still create more and more creations maybe even if the old games are gone we still have each other but at least were still here to enjoy a great game
This game was an absolute masterpiece, both the 1st and 2nd one. It's always so nostalgic whenever I hear the LBP1 songs. I hope they make an LBP4 someday I thought LBP3 wasnt that good other than its online levels.
the thing that i got to play some of the levels which were features in the video... man, that system which were allowing you to draw symbols and cast a corresponding spell (2:25) seemed just mindblowing for my peanut sized brain.
When I was little-- maybe 4 or 5 years old-- I remember turning on my PS3 to see my best friend online and playing Little Big Planet 2 with her for hours on end. I remember waking up every morning, shaking my parents awake, begging them to let me play on the PlayStation. I remember playing the game with my mom-- it was the first game she ever taught me how to play. I remember rambling to my dad about how incredible the game was, and scolding him for not enjoying the game as much as I did. Then, I remember when I was about 8, some of my new friends introduced me to Roblox. So I started playing that instead. It was like Little Big Planet, but 3D. Slowly, I started losing interest in LBP. Why play that old game when I can play Roblox? More people play it, it's more detailed... what's so good about Little Big Planet? Then, I heard about the release of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and I started to remember LBP more. "Huh, I haven't touched the game in a while. Maybe I should try it out again." Boom. Nostalgia flooded my brain. Yknow what? After writing this comment, I'm gonna turn on my PS4 and see what Little Big Planet 3 has been up to.
My case was similar but i grew up with both Roblox and LBP. Seeing my second most favorite game get overshadowed by a new franchise that completely removes what makes the previous one good is totally depressing. Incase you still have your PS3 and you want to play LBP 1, 2 or 3 on it, there is a popular private server named Lighthouse and it recently got released on a public beta state.
There will never be a game this pure, creative, wonderful and heartwarming again I feel. Games like minecraft are similar to this feeling, but LBP will always have a place of its own.
Oh my gosh!! I love LittleBigPlanet!! I used to play all 1, 2, and 3, even Karting!! (I still do, lol!) So many years of memories!! I love this!! LBP Will always be one of my favorite Childhood games. ☆☆☆♡♡♡
i was a child who grew with this series because i was born the year it came out, now that im two months from 15 i realize how long its been going and how much it has meant to me, i spent years trying to get the series once again after it was thrown out, now that i have it i cant help but feel that i took too long because the days i will have with it are now numbered, this was truly a great series. i cannot say that it was perfect, but it has been a great ride guys.

I rarely play LBP3 anymore (I used to have 2, and karting but I do ‘t have access to it anymore) but when I do, I usually play the LBP2 campaign that someone uploaded as a collection of levels, it brings back the memories of playing the game all those years ago.
Welp.. That made me cry. This game is so unbelievably important to me. So many special moments and even special people in my life, because of this game. It was heartbreaking to me when they shut the servers down.
