Based on the famous animated movie, Walt Disney's The Jungle Book for the NES is a platform game where you control Mowgli, the boy who was raised by wild animals deep in the jungle, as he journeys to the human village to find safety from the tiger Shere Khan.
DreamYao ( tasvideos.org/... ) saves over three minutes over the previous run thanks to the usage of a bevy of new techniques, the most frequently used one being a way to swing much higher from vines than would normally be done. You can read the author's notes ( tasvideos.org/... ) for details on the techniques and glitches used and the optimizations done.
There are also runs of the Genesis version ( tasvideos.org/... ) and the SNES version ( tasvideos.org/... ).

Owned 'Jungle Book' on the NES clone platform, known as "Pegasus" in Poland. Watching this video gave me a flasback of my young teens, struggling bitter and passionate months with this title. Professionally, I probably do far more important things right now. But hell, I respect myself more, knowing, that I've eventually beat this game in the past, without any cheats, saves etc.
