My sister worked in this project from start to current status. And I'm hugely proud about her and the capabilities of my country. It was really a bad luck that covid19 hit just the first fully operational year of this project. But it already starts to reach its promised numbers this year. Here's why. It was built by contractors in exchange for operating it for a certain period of time. They also tried to finish as early as possible so they could start making money immediately.

The airport is amazing very nice to see, but after landing and settling you will discover the mindblowing beauty of the city Istanbul. Should be on everyone's travel list. A tip, get yourself a Istanbul card and charge it for the tram, metro, boats, etc. the view is always amazing especially on the boats when u can see the beauty of europe and asia. Mindblowing!

it starts with small projects but the amount of thinking about underway roads connecting the passengers to a railway and their lugagges must be something else. considering it took only 4 years to build this i think it must took 20 years to plan it.

Just had a connection flight from instambul to Albania , absolutely massive and well done , very pleasant and relaxing giving the fact that is a busy airport . ON THE OTHER HAND CAN YOU GET A DIRECT FLIGHT TO ALBANIA FROM NEW YORK OR EAST COAST LOCATION SINCE the demand for summer time is very high. Can’t believe it there’s been 30 years (democracy )or open country not a decent Airline to offer a direct flight from the USA TO ALBANIA . Keep up the good work I enjoyed the video.
I been there ones and it was a great experiment for me. You can see a lot of high tech equipments around you, they make your travel and other needs easier ,faster, tastyer. It is not just an airport indeed as you can see.
Have been to this airport during Covid. It is massive and clean and shiny. It is half as big as the country of Liechtenstein or it is almost 174 times bigger than Vatican City.

I flew from SeaTac to Istanbul. SeaTac is pathetic in comparison with pitiful restaurants and little to none duty free.
I am proud to work on such a big project. / It's nice to come to the end of a very challenging project.

I think, always we shouldn't see or judge things in one way, we should see them throughout different ways, Erdogan is not leading his family! He is leading a big country, such as Turkey so, it is habitual and a universal truth to happen mistakes and other regional and international problems. But overall, Erdogan and his Turkey are in the right direction and position. By the way, even the world's biggest and leading countries such as America, have trillions of depts and problems! But still they are able to manage their economy and dominate every thing in the world !. No country, without dept in this world. That is all.

Just had a connection flight from instambul to Albania , absolutely massive and well done , very pleasant and relaxing giving the fact that is a busy airport .
ON THE OTHER HAND CAN YOU GET A DIRECT FLIGHT TO ALBANIA FROM NEW YORK OR EAST COAST LOCATION SINCE the demand for summer time is very high.
Can’t believe it there’s been 30 years (democracy )or open country not a decent Airline to offer a direct flight from the USA TO ALBANIA .

I been there ones and it was a great experiment for me. You can see a lot of high tech equipments around you, they make your travel and other needs easier ,faster, tastyer. It is not just an airport indeed as you can see.

Have been to this airport during Covid. It is massive and clean and shiny. It is half as big as the country of Liechtenstein or it is almost 174 times bigger than Vatican City.
