In the story, I would say that you do need to teach your daughter to act better towards your wife, because she was acting very rude towards her. It doesn't matter how much you don't like her, respect her stuff, because you would never want someone doing that to you.
for the last one YTA because, first off who is Megan to decide what can and can't be in the SHARED bathroom. Secondly, how are you gonna defend your daughter for throwing away something your wife needs, and then say it's her fault.

For the story with the daughter with cancer, they’re basically saying that since the husband’s family was so selfless, they should give money for the cancer treatment instead of helping to pressuring the wife into taking her daughter’s money for college for the cancer treatment.

The last one, oh boy, the husband is so clueless. I highly suggest family counseling.
His daughter is just going to keep doing stuff till it gets so bad that the wife leaves, or blows up and things get bad. He needs to talk to his daughter and tell her that nothing she is going to do is going to change the fact that he is now married and that is not going to change. If her bio mom is still in the picture and the daughter is doing this because she wants them to get back together then he needs to explain to her that it is not going to happen. Perhaps, it may be best if she lives with her mom for a while too. If the daughter is just doing this because she does not like her new step mom that needs to be addressed too. If he keeps ignoring it it is just going to snow ball.
