Just crazy how good this is and I am just now hearing for the first time. How the universe aligned to produce this group of musicians making the absolute best music to my ears I will never know, but I am so thankful to be here for it!

Hard to play this without Boyd. Amazes me how much a part of their music he was. It's just not the same without him.
@@deathtotruthers1 I would agree. Sadly the band has past its prime quite a while ago. I have seen them once since Boyd left and it wasn't the same. Even the setlists they put out these days are very bland and repetitive. They will always be my all time favorite band but I think its time to call it quits.
d@@johnlaplacajr845 I still enjoy their music, and I still go to concerts. Definitely don't want them to call it quits. I do think they rushed to "fire" Boyd in the me-too madness and they should bring him back. You just didn't understand how integral he was until Jeff tried to start playing the violin parts. He's good (though he doesn't hold a candle to Roi), but again, the music just sounds different.
@@deathtotruthers1 It's kind of sad to say, but each time they've lost an original band member they've taken a significant step backwards. They really are one of those bands that you can tell fed off that energy and has lost it a little bit over time. Almost like they lost a little bit of their identity and try to fill it in with someone that just can't replicate that feeling and feels further and further from their original sound. Glad I saw them for the first time in 2013 and 6 times since, because I don't think the band will ever be quite the same. Last concert was in 2018 with Boyd and I'm scared to go again honestly

I'd be more than happy if they use this recording just as it is on an album. Can't imagine a studio recording ever topping this. Tim's playing is spot on here.

Dave’s taste in his own music is atrocious. Imagine how much better a tour would be if they simply replaced Can’t Stop with Crazy Easy?
I hear you. What I think happened is right before and during the Everyday sessions he started listening to his bandmates a little (WAY) too much. He let them talk him out of the beauty of the lillywhite stuff because it was too “negative”. Dave’s is a nice guy. To his musics detriment, IMO.
