Bro, you're awesome! Great video production! You are the first one to introduce me to this bike. I explored many other reviews, and yours still stood tall amongst the others. Yes, I ordered a Lyric Graffiti X, third batch Preorder.
@@thebikecaveI kinda your neighbor down here on the Olympic Peninsula. BTW I also have a Sparks Cycle works Brute arriving in January. Likely before the Graffiti X. Another third round pre-order. That bike I plan to use for parts and material run with my construction company. Sparks provides a VIN, title, bill of sale, etc. I’ll very likely register it. I’ll be leaning into the grey area a bit. Best I can tell Washington state registration shouldn’t be an issue? If you’re interested in checking that bike out you’re most welcome to do so. I really dig what the crew at Sparks is doing.
Congrats! Hope you enjoy it. I REALLY love the bit of curvature they did to that trim piece below the seat (with the Graffiti logo on it). It adds so much dimensionality to the whole bike over the flat piece that was there before.
Awesome review. I've been nerding out to ebike reviews for the last two weeks and I always come back to the Graffiti X as my favorite. Pricey, but so freaking worth it.
I came across your channel when you featured the 2025 wired Freedom and man was I impressed. I like the way you produce your videos and yah at 62 and facing hip replacement surgery I'm definitely interested in the E-Bike for sure 👍keep up the good work.
I love your productions!! Your enthusiasm is energizing and knowledge eye opening. Man I want one of these!! I did pick the Meelod Dk300 and have been having lots of fun…but lusting after this beauty.
Thx Jay! I appreciate the kind words! The Meelod is a great bike for the $ and I’ve been enjoying riding the DK300max. I’m definitely lucky to be in this position!💪🏻
Way to go bro!! Congrats. I wish i had the storage place for it. I have 3 e-bikes already. 2 bikes by Ride1up, the LMT'D and the Prodigy Xc that i put city slicks on and a dropper post. Also have a specialized Turbo Tero 5.0. Would love a specific e-mo ped now. Something faster like this to blurr the lines
Very nice comprehensive unboxing and assembly! I am usually annoyed and cursing during my bike assemblies. You were able to keep me entertained throughout the video! 👏👏. PS thanks for sharing my bike delivery experience! Enjoy your Graffiti X! 🍻🤙
I outlined the changes in the build video here… As fast as performance, I can report that it’s been very similar to the prototype in my first Graffiti X video.
I love everything about this bike except for the price so you might as well buy the Spark Cycle Works Brute and get so much more for less. I already own two Spark Cycle Works Bandit's and these bike's are excellent but I definitely have the Brute in my sights.
Thank you for mentioning my comment in the video! I hope that is the case with law enforcement. As long as we are riding safe and not like an idiot, they won't take away our bikes. I ride my surron all the time and I know its not street legal, I follow the rules of the road, ride safely not doing wheelies. I don't want to be outed just because its a surron, talaria, eride, ect ect...
You should review the Spark Cycleworks :"Brute" model is new.. they also have Javelin older brother version. The Motor goat v3 is the way.. just 60v overall.. Motor goat 60ampHour @ on a 60v system simultaneously
I checked my Graffiti and the tires were at over 40psi way over filled... brought it down to 20 and it rides much better. I'm gonna check the shocks next...ride is a way to stiff for me. I'm betting they're filled to the max PSI.
Congratulations on your new ride. Question/Comment : I don’t think Lyric listens to customers, we need a seat rider attachment ! Or Lyric should not advertise that the bike fits a rider up to 6’4” tall.
Love this bike! So expensive, i ultimately want this or the billy goat! I've been into ebikes now just over a yr, and I've kinda gone nuts! I've had 14 since last August, I was learning and bought a lot of mid range bikes, then got into the 26-in ebikes, then i found the Bigniu BG-X! Imo the ultimate Cruiser bike, and for the money is the best ebike, and gets over 40mph, I'm currently down to 7, I've sold quite a few, ultimately I want my 2 Choppers (yes I have 2) my 26-in my happyrun G100 and maybe 1 more, i have a little RUclips channel I do reviews too, very small, I'm just starting, but it's super fun and I'm a bit goofy and like to keep it light, I love your videos dude and your personality, you seem like a great guy stay the way you are man, maybe eventually I get the billy goat or this graffiti I just need to stop buying bikes and get rid of a few at this point haha,
Hello, you do a great job with your reviews, so I had to subscribe! Waiting on my X, batch #4 in April for delivery. Couple questions.....will we need motorcycle type lire levers to remove/install a tire? I've been told that there is a motor disconnect, but no one has shown it. Could you? It looks like rear wheel removal should be pretty straight forward....do you agree? Thanks, man!
They’re motorcycle wheels and tires so yea probably will need heavy duty tools to remove it. Removing the rear wheel will also be quite the task… detention the belt, disconnect motor, slide wheel out of the dropout… I’ll show it if I ever need to remove it but it’s gonna be a pretty big job.
My question Will this bike do well with steep roads, or will the direct drive non geared motor bog down. My everyday riding area from my house is up and down a road that is a mile long and a 20 percent grade. I currently use an E-Cell bike with added 1000 w mid drive, but the chain is a big problem with mid drives under that load. That means for every 100 feet traveled forward, the road rises 20 feet higher. Seems like a craze steep private road. But That is accurate, (I’m good at surveying elevations.) If you know please comment Rodney
So they are definitely shipping them out, thats good to see. Ive been wanting to get one as my next bike for commuting. Being partially disabled and living in California, i cant work a good paying job. So i cant afford rent/utilities, food, phone bill, and a car payment as well as the insane prices for just liability insurance as well as gas prices, which are going to be taxed another 2 dollars a gallon starting January 1st 2026. But i can afford rent/utilities, food, phone bill, and have enough to save for a one time purchase on a ebike. If i save for a year or two. Before anyone says anything about government assistance, ive tried. Im not disabled enough for it even though i have a hard time just standing for longish periods of time. I live in constant moderate to severe pain and have been denied pain medication or sleeping pills and the lack of sleep over the years has just made my condition worsen. This state is screwed up if you're not 40% disabled (im 37% disabled) no matter what the circumstances are for your condition.
Damn your box looks like it's in great condition. Mine had ONE green strap on it on one end of it and that's it. I hope nothing is wrong with the bike....I'm away from rn so I can't build it yet.
@@thebikecave Thank you man, I'm 5'3" so I will struggle with this seat height, I will look for the next electrify expo to have a test ride to see if I have any reach. Thanks again!
Congratulations on your new ride. Question: You said you waited a year for the bike was that after you ordered it ? I don’t like the fact that Lyric doesn’t stock their bikes and their pre sales should be worded “ Build to Order” since the customer is putting out thousands of dollars and having to wait 5,6,7 months to get a Graffiti X . My opinion is when a company doesn’t stock their bikes the company isn’t willing to front their money to build the bikes and the company isn’t that confident that they would sell all their in stock bikes , speaking of the Graffiti X. Lyric should have a stock of 75-100 bikes and do away with the BS pre sale crap. I’m not a RUclipsr and don’t get e-bikes for free like most RUclipsrs doing reviews and I’m alot older almost 70 years old so I’ve been around and know what these companies do. The Graffiti X is a very good illegal bike in the US. I can order a Sparks Brute and gave it within 8 weeks made in the US and delivered built for the same price as the Graffiti X
Stocking 100 of each bike Lyric makes would be a HUGE investment to make for a small company not counting the space to store all of these. They’re sold out for a reason… Great product. And you’d have to pay out of pocket too for a brute as they are made to order… Also I didn’t get the bike for free, paid like everyone else!✌🏻
love the vids man. but as a responsible rider of 30 years . I own everything from electric to gas and in between. yes its safer to go the speed of traffic for US. but what about the cars WITH registration and insurance? at that point you need to check yourselves guys and realize that is a motorcycle and needs registration and insurance. such selfish statements are ignorant . so we get to go into traffic and cause accidents with no insurance etc? wow guys. even as a rider who owns a eride pro , roadrunner v2, kaabo wolf warrior x gt. that's ridiculous and screams ENTITLEMENT, LOL
the laws are in place. register it as a moped in that range and motorcycle if higher. get insurance. boom OMG that must be rocket science to some ppl....lol
I got insurance from lemonade. If my bike gets stolen or hit, as soon as I get the police report and send it in. The money is on my bank and I can replace it. No we can't register it but I'm okay with that. I haven't had a motorcycle maybe one day and you might know better than me. But me and my Ariel rider rides 365. Rain, snow , hot and cold I'm on it going to work. When I'm not in a safe bike lane and riding on the side of traffic, being able to have the speed keeps me safe. Example.... People will look for cars before opening doors or pulling out and not e bikes. So if I can keep up with a car I feel safer. I'm not trying to come at you just expressing my point of view Ride safe bother
Without you guys, none of this would ever happen! Thank you! 🤜🏼🤛🏼

@PTpeet when did it say it would come for 3rd batch. I'm thinking about getting one. I just heard customer service was bad and a few other things.

I REALLY love the bit of curvature they did to that trim piece below the seat (with the Graffiti logo on it). It adds so much dimensionality to the whole bike over the flat piece that was there before.
Thx! Totally! The small details are so nice on the production model. Makes the bike so polished.
Awesome review. I've been nerding out to ebike reviews for the last two weeks and I always come back to the Graffiti X as my favorite. Pricey, but so freaking worth it.
Couldn’t agree with you more! It’s the only bike I purchased with my own money last year. Well worth it.🤘🏻

what is the pedal thread size
I didn’t know there were different pedal threads…🤷🏻♂️ normal I guess…
I was waiting on your review. I can't believe it's been 5 months. Time flies!!!
I outlined the changes in the build video here… As fast as performance, I can report that it’s been very similar to the prototype in my first Graffiti X video.
The bike storage can be fixed by getting the Graffiti X Rear Rack to go with it. Thats what I did and I plan on carrying a lot of cargo.
Yeah I saw that… Wanted a shorter rear end. Stay tuned to see what I did to it!🤜🏼🤛🏼
🔥🔥 congrats bro

I just ordered a Graffiti X last week! Looking forward to April 2025 delivery in batch 4!
You are going to love it! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
I ended up switching the rear suspension to the middle hole. Feels so much better
Was too hard or too soft?
@thebikecave the seating position is a slight bit higher. Made it feel a bit softer
Is there any way to disable the slow start?
Not sure… Haven’t messed with the advanced settings yet.
Thanks for the awesome review. What the T handle wrench you are using ?
All my tools are Park Tools.
I checked my Graffiti and the tires were at over 40psi way over filled... brought it down to 20 and it rides much better. I'm gonna check the shocks next...ride is a way to stiff for me. I'm betting they're filled to the max PSI.
Yeah comfort is a must but under inflated tires wear out faster and feel sluggish in the turns…

Does the graffiti X seat still lift open to show the controller storage area or do you have to take the whole seat off
Just the side piece where the graffiti logo is… 2 screws and you can access the controller
Congratulations 👏

where was the screw for the front fender
In the lower crown of the fork
