I was in Quartzite for the RTR, some of the RV show, and we've been to Oatman and are now outside of Joshua Tree. Gonna do Lake Havasu and then head south. Glad to see you got your van back and that the kitties are doing well. I have a dog and two kitties with me.

Thanks for watching! We always worry about break-ins especially with the cats, but usually just try to trust our intuition when it comes to where we park. As far as people parking closer than we’d prefer, we’ve also encountered that as well haha. Hard to control when you are in free spots although most people are looking for solitude themselves so it’s rare. Been having s great time in Mexico and can’t wait to share more!
For the tortilla thing, mexican-tip: you could've done some kind of "quesadilla omelette" with that cheese and no tortillas :) next time, try grating cheese, and spreading it in a pan until the bottom crusts, then add your ingredients to one half and flip to close & serve :) we call it Costra de Queso and you can find it in pretty much any taqueria. Also, woooaah amazing and inspired about the clothes for the kitties :D

at walmart in the mexican food section they sell some “just add water” tortilla flour. (not the corn tortilla flour) i keep some in the van and make any number of tortillas i need for a meal. it’s pretty easy and tastes great
I’m a big fan of trailers. Like an R-pod size or a small off road version of that. It’s a pain I know but I have a van and 3 in my family and there’s just no way to see the road, and carry bikes, gear and extra stuff. So having a small trailer is what works.
Yes we are trying to decide how we would haul our bikes and music equipment and food and kitchen and everything in one van. It seems impossible. A small trailer seems cool. I thought about pulling a small car. A second van would be ideal, except my partner really can’t drive very long.

It seems so rarely used as a brand in the states and yet the concept is so damn practical I was so surprised to see you guys use it!! I have a whole set because it’s the best, so glad to see it’s getting recognition outside of Europe.
@@susanbankowski2687 yep. Needed a new engine. It took 3 months to get it fixed and we built the small van in that time. We took a break from youtube during most of that.
It looks like there’s an option on RUclips where you can activate translation (similar to subtitles) called Audiotrack, but in my case, it was already on. It’s weird… especially when the male voice spoke Scarlett’s lines 😅
If someone offered to buy the smaller van, would you copitulate and return to the larger van togeather and pull a smaller office/sleeper/stuff trailer as has been suggested here earlier?
@@cliftonwilliams766 we probably wouldn’t need to tow anything. We will likely still do trips in just the larger van. We’ve had the smaller one for 6 years now and just had a good opportunity to build it out when the promaster broke down. We are headed to baja mexico in the small van together here soon!
