Your Bass Needs glad it helped.
The tapered end of the micro USB adapter faces up when you plug into the controller. The DJI label on the adapter will be facing up. I marked mine with a silver sharpie to avoid confusion. This is definitely design that DJI should correct. Many will break the tab on their controller by forcing the adapter into the controller oriented incorrectly.
Fed Guy that’s is a good suggestion.
FYI iPad mini will fit the controller arms if you spread the arms a bit. You do need to use the alternate USB connection and longer cable to connect to the mini
Fed Guy yes i have used the Mini iPad either standard set up but found it uncomfortable the hold.

Yes i know i have tried a few things but not having much luck, so thats why i thought of trying to kid the controller in to FCC mode not looking at flying miles but 500 meters would be nice
dave cox do you have the antennas in the correct position. The flat face of the paddle should be facing the direction of the craft.

Mavic Air new owner, beginner. Bought a used one. The obstacle avoidance is set at 1 foot which seems way to close to me. How do I adjust to 3 feet? TY in advance

Hey i recently got the mavic air. The quickshots I record seem to be in black and white and record with music. Is there a way to change these setting? Thanks for your help

Yes tries it always sent. Message to DJI and had nothing back yet i have only flown it 4 times but so far very disappointed

Just got a Mavic Air....If I set it up using my iPhone, can I then switch to my tablet to fly? In other words, do you always have to use the same device or can you switch back and forth as long as you have DJI GO 4 on both? Thanks! Very helpful video and clearly explained!
Michael you can use multiple devices. Which ever one is connected to the controller will work. Just make sure your signed onto your DJI account on each device.

Dear' my Mavic air drone IMU error 13 visibly ,,every time IMU calibration fail why?

By the way, iPad mini does fit without that extra piece.
Mac Mini I know, I've used mine with my Mavic but it doesn't feel right.
Excellent video thumbs up.Dji say that they havent test mavic air with Huawei mate 10 lite so its not in the list of the "supported phones" maybe you have tried it ?I really wanna buy a mavic but i am afraid that it might not working with Huawei mate 10 lite.The sad thing is that it supports older Huawei phones like P8.Any help maybe ? :)

Hi do you do the set up for FCC mode with the false app location
dave cox we have very strict laws in the UK regarding flying distance and the CE mode is more than enough to achieve this. I’ve never needed to improve on this.
I only get 300 meters and start to loose signal
dave cox that’s not good. If you fly in an area of heavy WiFi activity then that will affect range.
Hy, there is some setting not to charge the phone on the controller ... 😔
robert2 robert if you use an iOS device the controller won't charge your device.

Hi. I understand not giving away the answers to the questionaire, but it would be a great help if you gave some guidance to your prospective customers about where to go to do their research. A quick look on You tube shows quite a few 'numpties'! Maybe a brief mention of the relevant articles in the Air Navigation Order 2016 and CAP 722, but hopefully what we need to know is fully covered by the evolving Drone Code. I'll also add that it would be wise to obtain insurance cover, maybe a facility you could consider offering via a local broker or by recommending membership of a suitable association. Bob UK.

why dji. not manufacture fiber for prop. so that it never broken
VBLOG MUSIC after market props are not balanced well enough and cause vibrations that imbalance the flight controller. They are also not as flexible as plastic props and thus more brittle to impacts.

No the springs do not fall off.
There's enough resistance to hold them on but just be aware.

Good video but you are incorrect when stating all you need to do is hit the Home Button to bring the Mavic back home! You need to HOLD the button for 2 seconds to Activate that feature incase you accidently press it or bump it while flying!!
Jeff Rzepka I'll be honest I never use the automated features as this is when things go wrong.
The home button works flawlessly if properly setup to do just that...
Jeff Rzepka it was more that when the craft is in automated flight if something were to happen you won’t react as quick as your not currently flying the craft at the time.

If a thick skulled, myopic numbskull like me can do it, anyone can.
Patience and perseverance is the key for the first timer. Take your time.
Fighter jets are dropping bombs nearby so it's an ok-to-fly-but-caution fly zone, then ok to launch once you acknowledge the screen pop up. A secondary iPhone cautionary pop up appears as well and that had to be acknowledged too before flite.
Keeping it in beginner mode works for training.
Now I need to know how to format the sims card.

The mavic air has horrible range no screen terrible battery flight times and it's loud it's a toy compared to the mavic Pro and up it would make a good backyard drone that's about it it does have a great camera but what good is it if it's lagging if you're flying in a residential area DJI should have used the same GPS system as they use in the mavic Pro it would have been a nice drone I would have definitely kept mine
Worst thing ive ever brought just sending mine back does not work at all keeps kicking me out of the app.spent £800 and spent 4 days trying to get connected.dji worst customer service ever!.go pro karma got slated loads would have the karma allday over this rubbish!
sosoinkedharris85 DJI customer service isn’t the best i do agree. It’s important to buy from a knowledgable drone dealer so you have the technical backup. Matter of interest are you using Android.
Marionville Multirotors hi no i am using iOS on iPhone 7 Plus I’ve downloaded latest iOS deleted and re downloaded the app about 10 times still constantly kicks me out before I can even download the firmware I honestly can’t be bothered with it no more I got absolute no faith in DJI and will never buy one again. I. Looking to change it for the parrot or karma

Marionville Multirotors yes tried it with other iPhone models,iPad I have a 7plus it says it’s compatible with that so should not have to use other devices.its simply rubbish regret ever getting swayed by dji it’s ruined my whole getting into a drone experience what with it being my first one
It’s odd as it’s a solid craft. I get no issues with the ones I’ve sold.
