- Condoleezza Rice served on President George H.W. Bush's National Security Council. She was his senior director of Soviet and east European affairs and special assistant to the president for national security affairs. Later on Rice was secretary of state and national security adviser under his son, President George W. Bush. Rice joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss lessons from the 41st president, Bush's role as the father of German reunification, and his humility.

Outstanding Woman who is brilliant and well spoken. The Bush Family raved about her insight on the Soviet Union and other foreign policies. They had differences but the respect is always there.
Agree 100%. A smart President would be calling on her for her insights and recommendations in dealing with the current situation. Let's hope those calls are being made.

I wish that too, but most blacks resent and hate her. It's a shame. The democrat plantation can't stomach a strong conservative black woman. It is repugnant to them and it's their loss.

@Zero Cool She's educated, with high standards and principals. She's strong and can lead with a steady hand. I think her work history gives her a unique perspective and I do believe that even the mistakes that were made in reference to policy or procedures within the 43rd administration will serve as a guide to running things more smoothly if she were to win in 2020.

She was quite successful at exxon Mobil. But came when they called. The thoughts that come to my mind from listening to this is: No wonder the world is on the verge of total chaos today. The damage that has been done to the world, and the damage that continues to be done to the world, is beyond anything that any decent person with normal values can even imagine is going on. And the people that are keeping these secrets from the public are those who enables the people in power to do the damage that they are doing to mankind, decade after decade after decade.
