Thank you for your video. I am going to change my 17kw Generac Generator today. I would like to point out that maybe you should turn off the power before you start to change the parts and oil.
Thanks for making that suggestion. It is possible but unlikely that I turned it off inside. I'm glad you pointed that out. I need to change the oil again very soon! Hope to see you in more comments. Kevin
Thanks so much! My 22Kw was just installed on the 9th of June. You didn't show the back of your unit; but I'm guessing the wire and gas hookups are buried. The farm looks beautiful on your website. I hope to visit some day. We live near Philadelphia. We took a driving tour of VA 6 years ago. It was one of the best trips we have ever been on. Thank you, Tim
Tim, thanks for watching our video. Yes the lines are buried. I wish we had a little larger unit but it does work well. Service is a breeze too! Thanks for sharing the thought! Look forward to your visit. Let us know you are a subscriber. We love sharing what He has done for us with everyone! Kevin
That's a monster! I wish I had one that size. I have pto 25kw for the barn but for our home 17 works for all the essentials. Thanks for watching. Semper Fi! Kevin
Would you believe it has almost 0 hours on it. I'll wager less than 25... I remember it coming on one day a few years back and it ran all day. What was interesting on that adventure is that nobody else in the neighborhood had their power out. It was getting close to 5 pm when I realized it too.. turns out a squirrel got onto the transformer and shorted our power only.... It's been a good generator. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! Kevin
Jorge, That is a good question. I understand it to be every 6-12 months. I typically service ours when I remember... which in the past was more than 12 months... since doing this video, I will start doing this every 12 months. Unless we have a long power outage and in the case, every 6 months. Each Monday our generator comes on for about 20 minutes and that's all it get used for the most part. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share a comment! Thanks Kevin
I believe you! Probably didn't need to change the air filter either. The oil looked new too. Next time it's going to be oil and filter only. Thanks for your tip! And thanks for watching our videos! Kevin
Thanks for your time in the United States Marines. God Bless you as well. Gil Bouyet
Mr. Bouyet, Thanks for watching our video and leaving your comment. I was proud to serve our country! Kevin
