Staying at the Cheapest Hotel in Tanzania! (Bizarre Experience) 🇹🇿

At £7.50 per person per night, this was the cheapest hotel I could find in Arusha, Tanzania. But it's a little bit different to your average hotel. This hotel is also a farm, growing its own organic fruit and vegetables as well as having its own dairy herd for milk.
Today I'm going to milk some of the hotel's cows in order to get the milk needed for all the guests to enjoy tea and coffee this evening. Like many people today I am completely disconnected from where our food comes from and am looking forward to understanding the process of how our food is produced and put together, starting with milk. It's going to be a messy experience...

I have never had the opportunity to milk an animal. It looks difficult. Did you drink the milk that you got from one of the cows?

It was a lot more challenging than I was expected! I didn’t drink it straight but I did make some yummy tea with it 😋 They don’t pasteurise the milk here so it tasted extra fresh, flavourful and nutritious!
