I never understood all the hate for Invicta. Sure, their markups are questionable, but you still get a great quality watch for your money. Plus, they look amazing.
The hate might be confused with dislike. The brand is absolute junk in terms of their QC & movements. Therefore, I won’t buy their crap at any price - life is short & I’d rather have a Casio if I’m going cheap. That’s my dislike with Invicta, but certainly don’t hate the brand.

For those of us who like Invicta, we know that the MSRP isn't the real price...why you ask? Well, because we understand the game! I don't even look at the MSRP....because I understand the game. Even on SHOPHQ...the "Host" are always telling you what the discount is during their sales pitch! One thing I know, you have to be patient. Don't pay the price the very first time you see it on air, you can get it quite a bit cheaper when you wait! I have waited for months for a watch's price to drop at least $100 or more before I buy the watch! If it never does...I do without! Oh....I wear the larger watches, only because at 6'6" and 340 lbs, I have a huge wrist...a fraction under 9"... Or 23 cm. ( ex- Offensive Lineman many decades ago. Severe leg injury ended my days of playing ) A 40 mm watch looks like child's watch on my huge wrist! Which is why my 47 mm Grand Diver is my watch of choice. I don't think I have paid over $125 for any of them! It always depends on what you like..no one else!
This is the fun part of Invicta… the hawking of a watch you like until it drops to a solid price. If youre into the brand you’ll know when to bite and when to wait lol.
I just snagged an Invicta Reserve model number 33611 with .76carat diamond and a blue stingray strap. Retails 1800 but I paid 125. Makes me question the resell value but I sure do love the way some of them look.
I just found a 6 year old Invicta automatic from my house. And for my surprise, it is still working. That is an extreme miracle for me 😆. Anyway, I just started to use it as my daily driver

Great video bro. I have 3 invicta pro divers. A blue one same as your son, original black one and the one with the coke bezel. You get a lot of bang for your buck. I've regulated all three to within + or - 3 seconds a day. The pro diver range is a good first automatic watch to get your collection started.
What a lot of people don't realise is that the Invicta Grand Diver (although very big) is a completely different watch from the Pro Diver. It's rated to 300m and doesn't just look like a Rolex. My Grand Diver (#3049) has hands that are unique to Grand Divers and a Planet Ocean-style scalloped bezel. It also has extra decorations on it and solid end links. I absolutely love it. It still looks and runs like the day it arrived back in 2012.
I have one Rolex sub pro diver solid gold and the invicta pro diver and most people can't tell the difference. I can but its very slight. I wear the invicta more then my Rolex because the 18k gold can easily be damaged and it cost over 5k to replace just one link on the Rolex if you damage it. I wear the Rolex when its a special occasion but most times i wear the invicta. I swim with it i dive with it and it holds up beautiful.
I brought my Invicta watch for the stylish look when I saw it I knew it just looked expensive but I loved the stylish look of it and that's why I brought it not as a investment Invicta make stylish watches without spending a fortune
Remember if the crown doesn't screw down tight its not water proof. Even if it says 100m if the crown keeps turning its just water resistant and when they say 100m thats for swimming in a straight line above the water in a 300ft straight line not diving. You can dive with the pro diver because the crown screws down lock light.
