Thank you for that inspiring video Rachel! As usual, amazing colors! A beautiful piece of Spring. And above all, thank you for reminding me that I can make progress and improve my painting. There's my very first mandala dot rock painting in front of my desk, to remember "ok,you were there, now you're here. Relax and enjoy the process!"
Don't have to squint my eyes to see what beautiful work you do. Thankful for another wonderful tutorial. You always brighten my day! Thank you for showing us your past work as well. I asked for it a couple times and I really love the progression. You started out well but really have gotten so much better! Very inspirational! Much love Rachael❤
I say it’s perfect timing because my birthday was yesterday. Ha! Also I love seeing your progress. I recently did the same and looked back at old rocks I did. It’s nice seeing the progress.
Hi Rachel, thanks so much for showing us your daisy video along with the sweet pea. I’ve just painted the daisy one and I will Resin later when I have a few others ready. I did resin the sweet pea and I love it. I will show you later. Just wondering if you can do a video with the moon as the theme? My sister in law would love me to do one. I am looking for inspiration! I love your work 😍❤️
These daisy's definitely look freshly picked 😍 that sparkle from the water colors added some life to them!! Sooo Beautiful as always Rachel & thank you for all you do & share!! Also great to see where ya started from to now always great to reflect on past journey Luv it all.. 💕✌️😁
Oh my gosh Rachel! 💜 The are so beautiful. Looks like you could pick them right off the rock. So very incredible. Your talent is so amazingly spectacular. Thank you for sharing. One day I will have the nerve to try one of your paintings. 💕🤗
so pretty Rachel. Thank you for the inspiration you always bring. I have your framed flower picture that says keep painting on my art desk. I am improving also over the two year space. Thank you for being an awesome teacher and love that you give so freely of yourself!!! Your the best!
Really beautiful job!!! The centers are amazing, they caught my in the thumb nail before I started the video. You really captured them well! And yes, you've come a long way baby and I feel honored to have come on the journey with you. You are my inspiration! XOX
Rachel, these daisies are so fresh! Those centers are perfect, too, and I didn’t even have to squint my eyes like you said to do! 😂 These are so beautiful! A line from “You’ve Got Mail” : Don’t you think daisies are the happiest flower?”
Hi Rachel, I did an « experiment « , I had a a rock just like this one... light grey. But, once I did the water test to see how dark it would end up once I resined it, it was just black... So I tried to white wash it. I mixed one part thick white acrylic paint. If I remember correctly I used Liquitex Basics White to two part water and just brushed that over the rock. Resined it, and the end results was super pretty. The washed out white paint just settled nicely in the porous rock and the rock just had this multi dimensional pale grey tone to it. It looked really nice and not so dark. It ended up being a great background for a flower design I did. I am just sharing this in case someone would like to try it. But it did end up looking a bit cloudy.
I ran out of rocks to paint. I don't want to do this forever but I'm hooked on it for the time being. SOOOO, what did I do? I compressed some heavy duty aluminum foil into the same of a 2 x 4 stone, and I covered it with polymer clay! VOILA! I had a rock to paint!!
I just discovered your channel, and I am thankful I did! I am brand new to painting. I am trying to learn via RUclips, lol. Would you please consider a Zebra tutorial? Zebras are the symbolic animal that Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome people have adopted. EDSers have a rare genetic mutation that cause their illness. Like EDSers, Zebras have their stripe coloring due to a genetic mutation. My granddaughter, daughter, and myself have EDS, and would love to paint a zebra for my girls! Thank you for considering my request.
Wow, wow, wow! 😍Always beautiful. Especially your career is very inspiring to me. It is so reassuring that even someone with such super beautiful results, started simple in the beginning and now creates such works of art. That makes me courage to stay with it. Maybe you have a tip for me? When coating with epoxy resin, sometimes small matte spots appear, as if no epoxy resin wants to stick to these places. What could be the reason for this?
This can happen if there is humidity, or too cold. Sometimes it happens if you don't mix equal parts. You can go over it again with a fresh coat of resin.
Me too as you like making flowers

By the way I am a southpaw too. Yay. I tried to do it my hand wont let me. Is there other things you paint on too?
What kind of glitter do you use? Is it mixed in with your resin? I 💕💕💕💕 love the effect!
Sparkling handmade watercolor paints
What do you set the wet rock on to harden?
Love these daisies! Question: I currently have two rocks that I have painted black and resined. Can I use them for this, would you recommend?
Yes definitely you can!!!💜💜💜
Rachel I just purchased resin pads for drips, how do you get excess off pad? Please
Beautiful!
