Bycicle Trailer Tiggo Cargo 1 - Societal Benefits of using a bike trailer

The university Lund in Sweden published 2018 that the societal cost for a km on bike are negativ 20 cents and for a car per km driven the costs are 30 cents. This can be explained by adding the cost of infrastructure maintenance, crashes, the loss of working hours because of these crashes and polution to the mode of transport. That got me thinking to replace my car on innnercity transport with my bike. But as it is a mountainbike and hence lacking mounting points for paniers - although there are workarounds available - I decided on a bike trailer, this one a tiggo cargo 1 trailer.
As the trailer is cheap, about 100 Euros and the indivdual cost of car vs. bike and trailer of 38 cents for the car and 9 cents per k for the bike I will break even in 52 km or 5 times into the city. This will happen at the end of october.
