I forgot to mention this in the video, but this trick also applies to the Dreamless Echo farming. Always farm this domain on the LOWEST Difficulty IF you are just going for the Echo drop, since the Echo Drop Rates are PURELY based on your Data Bank Level. Also don't forget, you can eat food in the overworld, so if your characters are still not strong enough to 1-shot the mobs, eat some cheap Skewers or other cheap ATK foods! We have to craft them every week anyway for the weekly quest, might as well put them to good use Currently, there also appears to be a 'hidden pity' for Echo Farming. For bosses, if you don't get a Boss Echo drop, the next one has a very high chance to drop. For elites, if you don't get an Elite Echo drop in 3 kills, the next one has a very high chance to drop.
Did you know that you can garantee echo drop because there is a pity to it. elite -> after 3 elite didnt drop you are 100% getting an echo boss -> after 1 didnt drop 1cost -> no pity you can therefore farm your desired set using this info (or just go in a friend world endlessly) Enjoy the grind
The only issue with this is people with goldfish brain (like me) will forget the lowered world level and start farming tacet fields, forgery, bosses, etc 😅
one important thing - there's actually a limit on how many resources you can get from farming mobs (I guess I farm them that much to see it huh). So technically you lose out on some resources if you hit the limit, but echos are definitely a lot more valuable.

OOOOOMALORD this is game changing, me as an fp2 player so I save resources as much as possible. that is why I have low level echos even tho I main that certain character. lower the world level helped a lot in challenging cost-4 echos and having a portable waypoint closer to the boss helps me cycle 3 or maybe even 4 world bosses
This has by far been one of the most useful vids i have watched on WW, i just started about a week ago so i did not know you could lower the world lvl.
This is honestly pretty useful when entering a new SOL3 Phase. Since it doesn't hamper down your farming speed if you're still a little bit lagging behind your current SOL3 Phase. It's also pretty easy to manage since you just need to burn Stamina every 12 hours when you're at/switch to your highest World Level. Although for players who have already raised really well built characters this will be less of a concern down the line since your built Echoes doesn't need to keep up with your SOL3 Phase unlike your Ascension, Levels, Skill Levels etc. Overall I do consider this a very major tip for people only entering Union Level 30 just now, since once you reach Data Bank Level 15 this will be a incredibly strong strategy to have in order to quicken the pace of you clearing your targeted Echoes in the Open World along with Bosses that you might not be capable of taking down in a short amount of time (around sub 30s or faster)

Yeah, I lowered my world level on Genshin the moment the option came out and it definitely made a difference making the game feel playable again without exploration feeling like it takes forever and never having any desire to farm for gear so never getting any stronger. I get most players race to get higher, but getting high too fast can kill the game for some unlucky players. Definitely makes sense to me, Sweetily 👍🏾
I might just skip on that dropping my world level... the reason why I like Wuthering Waves is that, theres more challenge and not one hitting the boss like in "that" game :v
I'm having trouble to find this echo with the description saying this echo hides under damaged vehicles in the port city of Guizhou but when it comes out it reveals its true form
considering how bad my luck has been with substat rng and boss main drop(had to kill money 74 times to get gold crit rate, got 5 purple crit rate in the process) I'm just gonna hold out on optimizing the best echos right now. Tacet fields should give more resources at the next world rank and so i'd rather use my limited energy on permanent progression tasks like getting ascension mats or forte upgrade resources. i spent 2 days worth of resourceson tacet fields and realized that maybe only 60% of the rewards actually went into my characters permanently, rest just got recycled to a lower amount because of substat rng. I feel like making permanent progress at this stage of the game is much better than min maxing end game echos, just my two cents.

Wouldn't make sense. The ability to lower down your world level is there because of the simple reason that not every single person levels up their characters correctly or beneficently, so this way they prevent a "soft lock" for those players, just in case they are literally uncappable of progressing further because of their lack of resources or power. If they nerf it, they would shoot themselves in the leg, cause not every single player is a tryhard like us watching these videos to farm correctly, most of the community are actually pretty casual players who just want to click click kill kill and that's ok.
If you only play once a day it would work exactly the same, you only need to switch your world level once a day. The only thing that changes is if you farm overworld or spend your stamina first or second.
Good insight, but lowering your world means less rewards (currency, materials, etc..) which is not good if you have played Genshin and experienced the "grinding" of the samurai or flying bubbles. I would instead keep the SOL phase to farm both echoes and materials at the same time.

Lets say you are data bank 21 and you were required to be at a certain world lv to unlock that....if you go back down in world level will you still keep the 100% on 5 Stars or will purples start to drop again?
random question, noticed you were using Encore and Havoc Rover, right now im using Sanhua but i just unlocked the havoc version, stick with Sanhua or is Havoc Rover a better choice.
Havoc Rover is decently strong and definitely worth building, I recommend building her to play on her own team, or you can also play her with Encore like me as a dual DPS (I usually pair them with Verina in actual combat). Sanhua is useful as a sub-dps everywhere. After you try them out you can see which you like better, but you'll always have room for more teammates in Tower of Adversity.

the items mobs drop get worse tho right? so ultimately you'd want to be able to farm on highest difficulty but for now this is great
