Story 2 - I found out who the worst mooches were in my friend/family group were when I started working an irregular schedule on weekdays. From running errands, to picking up from school, to one person trying to get me to negotiate buying a car...their lazy asses were at home while they tried to get me to do the work UNPAID...because "I wasn't busy".
When you discover a problem like this the sooner it's corrected, the better. The longer it lingers the more problems you'll have down the road. It "clouds" the title to your property and it becomes difficult and expensive to correct if you ever need to sell it
This is what I was thinking. If my one neighbor extended their fence four feet onto my property, I would have to bring my lawnmower through the house and out my back door to mow the grass because the path would be completely blocked. That's just stupid to think he hoped to get away with it lol.

I'm sure she's a nice, caring person from the way OP described her, but being shy & hatin confrontation with a passion isn't a good enough reason to allow that situation to go on. Especially when u have kids. Her kids went without food all bc she couldn't grow a back bone to say enough is enough & put a stop to it all. I mean allowing ur low-life of a brother to live there is bad enough, but the guy who stole the money isn't even family & if they knew he was a thief should have been allowed in the home
People like in the last story always think they can do what they want, especially when it’s against laws and rules but the SECOND you do anything against them, they report you instantly.
Clothing returns story: Good grief! This guy definitely believes beggars should be choosers. But the only thing I will agree with him on is the shoes. Despite being the "same size", shoes from different manufactures can fit differently (which is why I don't buy shoes without trying them on). And poorly fitting shoes can cause sore feet in a hurry. Fence story: Pool guy was probably counting on you not wanting to cause drama. And I wouldn't bet on it not being deliberate. But given his attitude, I think I would invest in a couple of security cameras.

I've cut the weeding and work in the veggies down a lot by planting in raised beds, and I mow around them, and don't have to bend over! I relax a lot more than I even want, depression, some days I have more ambition than others! I let the neighbors pasture their horses on the pasture just to keep the grass down. You go and give your mom a big hug! Thank you for the vibes!
You don't have child protective services(CPS) in the UK? EU should be on the curb, and you, even though your 16, have rights. The pool guy did it intentionally. The fence guy was an idiot. The fence co wold have had to pull a permit and get a survey on the property line before installing the fence unless they were replacing a fence "in kind"-same fence, same location.
