For an upscaled and wide screen format. One would think this was taken on a very earlier prototype FullHD camera.This is very well done, pndvd.I almost thought this is one of Bevan Wall's videos. But I can tell it's not since the camera setup and spots are slightly different. Good to see it in full 50fps compare to the 25fps or 30fps standard. :) Phenomenal camera work here.
Thanks for the comment; I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. Bevan and I have been good friends for about 30 years and we've often travelled together, both here and in the US. This was one of our many trips together. Bevan has documented these trips very well on his youtube channel and so I don't generally put up my videos of them. However some of our trips have become more significant over time because, for example, the line has been closed, or the locomotive class no longer runs. Regrettably we can't wind back the clock and rerecord them again using today's much improved equipment. However I will be uploading videos of a small number of these now more significant events. Hopefully my upscaling and reformatting to high definition widescreen will go some way towards enhancing the record of these unrepeatable events.
