I remember when he was a top 5 recruit in the country. They talked like he could start as a true freshman. He's been a major disappointment. I don't know what's going on with him. He rarely even sees the field.
Let the kid develop. Everyone doesn’t develop at warp speed, plus he was playing behind Turner(1st rd) and Braswell(2nd rd) draft picks. To his credit he didn’t run off in the portal he stayed at Bama and has continued his development.
I don't think any freshman that doesn't play right off the bat a disappointment. He has several experienced players in front of him... he's super athletic but is a little raw.. let the kid develop.. jeezuz.
Exactly, i could see if he performed terribly on the field but he hasnt even got a chance to do good or bad yet. Let’s just be patient, every kid ain’t ready to get on the field so quickly

I don’t consider him or any other freshman that’s been unable to break the starting rotation as a disappointment Considering he’s a freshman competing against other high profile players that have a significant advantage over him by having a year or two of experience at the collegiate level and time to get their bodies in shape for SEC play. Give him time
You can't call a guy a bust or a disappointment when he hasn't even seen the field. It's not like it hasn't happened before. It takes time to see playing time. They all can't be Will Anderson, or Dallas Turner.

I feel like we are saving him for the minimum number of games at the end. Late in the season, injuries pile up, and he will be fresh and ready to go.

Honestly I never saw even in high school why he was the number 1 player . He definitely wasn't a bad player tho.
