Thanks for explaining xpath axes clearly just in 22 mins video... really appreciate your effort!!. Just one question here while writing axes methods instead of single / if we use // will it make any difference? Because when we use // it consider self node as well .. please clarify this
If you use the single slash at the start of the xpath then it will be treated as self node and considers that as absolute path. If you use the single slash in any other position then it refers to the current node. If you use the double slash in any other position then it considers as all the descendant nodes.
Hi Jayita, I haven't shown the execution in this video but the main thing is if we are able to write the xpath and find the desired elements in the chrome dev tools then it will surely work in the selenium as well.

Good Explanation sir but we cannot use indexes in xpath as they are subjected to change anytime i.e that xpath may not be fully dynamic!!
