Best romance anime in my opinion. Great visuals, magnificent music, and awesome storytelling, that takes a common topic of unrequited love and executes it perfectly well. And if you actually experienced unrequited love in your life, your feels after watching this will be pretty much TRIPLED.

I don't think you necessarily have to have fallen in love to not see or understand how powerful (romantic) love is. My heart broke over a lot of romantic movies as a kid and I had never been in love before. That being said, I'm sure part of the reason this movie still breaks my heart to this day is because I know what love and heartbreak feels like firsthand.

Miyazaki's films are beautiful in their own way. Just because this film appeals to you more doesn't make Miyazaki's films any less appealing. and I agree. The background and scenery are beautiful.

Its is so truthful to reality and it makes you think, if you love someone, have the courage to tell them how you feel because circumstances such as time and distance can affect it when you least know it. I am truly afraid to watch this movie a second time.

As because I had asked myself the same questions. This thought is a deep dark void even I had known at the beginning of...... However, I'm not love to drown into this sorrow. I just want to stay awake by hurting myself with it. Even it's just a fantasy. Even it's just a nihility. Even it's nothing but a dream of mine to escape from realities. To live in this real world, this is all I've got. And the only I've got......
この最後の終わり方と、映画の最後の終わり方の違いが切なすぎて泣きそうです。
映画を通じて知ったこの曲。今ではこの曲を聴く度に映画の様々なシーンが鮮明に脳裏に浮かんできて、その度にたまらなく泣きたくなる。感動や感激などという言葉では簡単に言い表すことのできない複雑な感情が心に溢れ出してくる。この作品と出会えて本当に良かった。これからも一生、心の中に在り続けると思う。
